Have to say I am really enjoying watching Abi at the moment, she is just great and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. I mean she turned her own dad in to the police for murder, and personally I don't believe she thinks he did it at all, it's all just part of her plan to become part of the Mitchell family,
Remember Abi has always hated Lauren and was jealous of her, and resented max because she thought Lauren was his favourite, now she has her revenge. You can see her face light up when Phil includes her in any thing and she will do anything to keep in his good books. When she finds out Ben is only using her to conceal the fact that he is gay she will flip., but until then I'd say that there will be a lot more to come from Abi.

I love it as well, especially as us, the audience, can see the delusion in full flow. Her plummet back down to earth will be absolutely delicious to watch.

I disagree with part of the OP. She never resented Max, IIRC they always supported each other and SHE was his favourite. She always forgave him for the affairs and wanted Tanya to do the same. Which is why it is so strange to watch Max and Abi sell each other down the river as they always loved each other so deeply. Lauren was closer to Tanya tbh and she always resented Max.

Abi is just the best soap bitch at the moment, from the sweetly sickly young Abi who buried her hamster and sung at it's funeral, to the bitchy, hard face battered her up cow.
