Was it me or did the writers seem to forget that it was his 30th Birthday.... He was the first baby born in the soap and concidering it's the 30th year. I would've thought that his birthday would have been more of a focus point!
Yes, i thought they'd have made a little more of it considering he was the first baby born in the show and the Pauline's pregnancy with him being revealed was a focal point of the very first episode. Also he was so keen to make a fuss of Kush's birthday but is unconcerned with his own?
It's because Stacey sucks the life out of any man she's near. Don't know how he can bear to be around her when all she does is moan and be rude to him.

He was married to Sonia for years, so is probably used to the moaning and rudeness lol. Guess he just really fancies Stacey and can overlook her weaker traits, plus he's been made aware of her mental health issues.
I would have dropped a few hints in the last couple of weeks, in a new relationship isn't their birthday one of the first things you find out about a partner?
