Has Sinead left now? Since the actress was axed she hasn't been seen. Have they binned all her scenes?

Spoilers indicate that she'll be back on screen in another couple of weeks. They'll probably air everything they'd filmed with her before she left, but then have her depart off-screen or use a body double to stage an exit for her

Just read her interview in which she admits she drinks too much. She also said she was at work and then said to her cast mates I can't do this I'm going home. That means they will really have to cut scenes and that particular storyline won't make sense. It will be interesting to see how they work around it.

She was on screen like two weeks ago, as was a number of characters who haven't appeared since. It's not uncommon for people in HO to disappear for weeks on end due to filming blocks. There's no coincidence about it. She will appear on screen again soon then leave with a quick exit.

Because she said what her reasons were. Everything got on top of her as well someone close to her dying and her not properly grieving. It's good that she has acknowledged she has a problem. Hopefully now she can deal with that and get her life back on track.

I see no sense that she's genuinely sorry, just making excuses - and she's still claiming that she didn't turn up for work hung over/still the worse for wear! Which is laughable, unless she has a magic metabolism, which rids her system of alcohol in minutes!

To be fair we really Don't know if she did turn up to work drunk because we weren't there.
I would expect she'll be on screen for a little while yet. If this incident happened 2/3 weeks ago and they shoot 4-6 weeks ahead of time I would think she'll be on until around the first week of September (coincidentally the same week she first appeared).
I see one of only two exits for her...
1) A knock at the door revealing she was in an accident and died at the hospital
2) Ste either wakes up and goes to tend to the baby crying and can't find Sinead. Finds a note 'can't do this anymore' and she's run off to stay with Ruby/George any random recently departed cast member or he wakes up and finds the same note but with the baby gone too which I'd prefer.

If you mean that in the DS interview she has acknowledged that she has a drink problem, she hasn't; in fact, she has denied it ('The 22-year-old actress said that she doesn't need help with her drinking.'). She only acknowledged that she had been drinking too much.

I don't think she'll be killed off. 2nd option is more likely. She could still return in a year or 2 if she gets her life sorted.

Actually if she left the baby behind it could be another one for Diane to apply for custody for claiming Ste was an unfit parent. She (Diane) could start a collection. Also Leela and or Tegan could counterclaim as Aunts of the baby, Lomaxes vs O'Conners the rematch

Are there any other babies Diane wants to claim for? What about Esther's?
At least it now makes sense for the Site/Harry relationship to start. I know he's not straight but he does care for Sinead so I wouldn't of thought he'd cheat on her.
Whatever happens to Sinead, I will be astonished if the baby doesn't go too. TBTP love a pregnancy, but a baby is just a complication that ties a character down and TPTB don't know what to do with them. They already have more babies than they know what to do with, and Ste doesn't need any more complications.

If she was drinking heavily in the evenings (which she admits), the alcohol would still have been in her system when she turned up for work at 7 or 8am the following morning. At the very least, she would have been hung-over.
If she really was unable to cope, then she should have had a word with her bosses. Plenty of soap actors have been given time off for 'personal reasons'. Better that than messing everyone about.
It seems steph has landed a role in a new US soap heaven is the hills. How true this is I don't know. Surely her accent would be a problem for Americans.

Yeah, unfair though it is, the US tends to favour British stars with southern English accents (generally either "posh" or Cockney). Reportedly that was one of the reasons why Cheryl Cole couldn't crack the US market. Who knows though, perhaps Stephanie can do a US accent well and won't have trouble getting roles out there ...

Apparently Georgia may Foote is also in the running for a part in it. Would be good if they both were in it.
Sineads departure see's her heading off to spain to stay with Ruby after an argument with Ste. Subsequent weeks later will see it revealed she's found a spanish boyfriend and won't return
