I don't think she's back in Walford though, they were all location shoots that we saw pictures of and importantly the two people that are going to be the most effected Ben and Ian weren't there so for me Kathy isn't truly back until she steps onto the square again.

Was really hoping it would be the xmas story coz halloween is way too much of a repeaf of last year, whats she gonna say 'Appy Alloween Ian!' ?! lol

But yeh Phil has 3 months to keep Ben and since Kathy was mentioned its pretty heavily signposted that he will try and use her to make him stay, but like Lola and Billy it'll only push him further away. Ben is gonna hate everyone, no wonder he is so messed up!

Yeah he's going to hate Phil for covering up her whereabouts all these months, but I'm sure he'll have plenty of questions for Kathy. Ben's life has been messed up so much ever since he moved back to Walford. In his eyes, all his problems (time in prison, Heather's death, abuse from Stella) would've never happened if he was still in South Africa.

Kathy at Kings Cross was filmed a couple of weeks after the Carters were at the seaside and that hasn't aired yet so I imagine Kathys return will be a week or so after that.

The King's Cross scenes are airing 21st August. I can confirm this. The EastEnders facebook page posted the images and the note to editors reads "TX: 21 August 2015"

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Christmas the way they drag out storylines. I don't mind long storylines but sometimes they start to grate, and you just look at the TV screen and come and and say, 'oh for **** sake get on with it'
I did that with the Lucy story...no doubt this will be the same.
