What a fantastic week it has been. The Ross/Debbie/Pete triangle has had me on the edge of my seat. I've tried to avoid spoilers as much as possible, so I was convinced that Pete had found Debbie's letter on the mantlepiece and was going to end up reading it! But Finn saved the day.

Michael Parr and Charley Webb have put in some brilliant performances this week. I really feel for their characters, they have been great to watch and have made this storyline cracking to watch with their portrayals. I like Pete too and don't want to see him hurt

Val and Eric's scenes have been fantastic this week as well. I have loved the black comedy of Val planning her fake death in perfect, minute detail and wanting someone to film her memorial so she can watch it back!

I found it funny how Chas and Chrissie bonded in tonight's episode too, rather than being at each other's throats!

Roll on the next week! I love the trailer, it's making me so excited

Largely agree with the OP except Debbie and Pete bore me tbh. However, I realise they are central to the build up to next week so hopefully it'll soon be over. I'm going to miss Val when she goes, as DD says, such a diva! Ridiculous and hilarious at the same time.

It's the best soap for me at the moment and going by all the drama next week it should be even better.

I agree. I am going to miss Val so much though. What is Eric going to do without Val?

I really don't know this week has made me realise what a big loss to the show she will be.
