She's on the Aled Jones show tomorrow morning ( ITV 8.30 ). I don't think I've ever seen her interviewed, promos are mainly done by Mark Charnock or Matthew Wolfenden, so I'll probably watch. Will she smile I wonder?

Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure i tune in. I've not seen her interviewed before either, I think she might just be a shy and private person. Looking forward to hearing her talk about the show though.

Ed wont kill her off as she seems central to most storylines, or it just feels like it. I wish they would cheer her up a bit though. Will be interesting to see how they write her out for maternity.

I have no idea why they have to make her so central. Mediocre actress at best and very dull character. I wish they would kill her off.

I'm going to record it and watch it later in the day. That way I won't have to wait for someone to upload the video!

Oh, why didn't I think of that obvious solution... Oh yes, I don't have a recorder.

I've seen Charley interviewed on breakfast television in the past and she seemed really lovely but quite timid!

I also shared the same seating row as her and her best pal Linda Lusardi at a recording of Dancing On Ice when Matt Wolfenden was competing! She appeared to be extremely smiley and chatty with excitement whilst chearing her man on!

Matt was also more than happy to pose for a pic afterwards and even tried to secure us an invite to the Elstree Studios bar along with some other fans but security were having none of it, lovely guy!

And soapnut, lucky you, getting to meet lovely Matthew.

Or her two brothers (one now replaced with Danny Mller), little sister, and brother's girlfriend (now ex). None of whom had any acting training.

Matthew does come across as genuinely nice. He's done the occasional bit of presenting on GMB in the past, not just the pre-recorded stuff, and I think it's something he could easily transfer to if the acting dries up.

The general standard of acting in soaps means actors do not need to be trained to be competent at that level. Charley is competent at this level. Her acting will only be tested if she leaves ED and gets a role in a good drama with better actors. That is when she will have to step up and prove she is more than a soap level actor. She isn't one of those horrendous face pulling soap gurners so that's a plus in her favour.

She seems just as miserable in real life though.

She has gotten some amazing storylines at Emmerdale, right from the very beginning.
