With Lou, Georgia, Amber (no great loss imo) and Kyle all left or leaving could we do a few new or old characters. There are 4 returns I think would be good. the first is Dane canning I recently saw Luke Pegler on home and away and taught he was good. Dane is similar to Kyle and would keep the canning family strong. the second and third are Adam Willis and Gemma Ramsey. Adam is probably now quailed as a doctor and could work at the hospital. They could return maybe with a few kids in tow to boast to teen population. The last is Hilary. many have said she should return permanently and I totally agree. she is a character with so much potential. Her and Sheila would be comedy gold and Paul needs some more family around. there is one more character that is not a return but has huge family ties and that is Madison Robinson. She is Daniel's sister and Paul's niece. She would boast the teen population as well and strengthen the Robinson family. I know the producers could just bring in a load of new characters but I think these would really add to the cast.

Hilary will be amazing if they write her back in, I've been saying this for years.

Adam and Gemma would be good returnees. Guy Carpenter and Lou's sister Brenda (both last seen in the early 90's) would also be good.

I think the Alessi twins should also make a flying visit, what with Chrissy being Andrew's mum.

i also think sulky Sue Parker and her son should move into number 32 if the Turners are leaving and bring utter chaos to the street.

I wasn't bothered about Hilary returning when I first heard about it but she had a humourous spark she was completely devoid of in her original stint. I too think she would work well with Sheila. They could be a bit like Mrs Mangel and Eileen Clarke when they were together! If any more old characters return I do NOT want them played by soneone else!!!!

Neighbours have already brought on four new regulars with Amy, Jimmy, Aaron & Ben.

Amber & Kyle are both leaving in October but will remain on screens until late Jan/early Feb.

I would love to see Hilary return full time and either another Canning or a relative of Lauren's but I think the next realistic regular will be Piper Willis.

I'd have Brad and Terese split up, Brad move in with Lauren at no. 32 and Terese move into Lassiters freeing up no. 22. I'd also free up no. 24 by getting rid of the three Brennan brothers who I think are atrocious actors who've been hired solely for their looks and find their characters really bland and void of any kind of personality. With the two empty properties in need of occupying i'd bring back the Scully family Lyn and Steph with their two sons Oscar and Charlie and recasted Jack Scully. And also Guy Carpenter with his wife and teenage children.

Steph is coming back too, so I am sure that four new characters would be necessary. Paul's family does need building up though. I know Amy is there now, but Paul needs a leading lady like Izzy back at his side.

I'd love to see an older gossipy character back. Hilary would be perfect, but maybe Sheila could do with an adversary?

I wasn't fond of Sue in the Eighties. Has she changed?

I think Naomi is really good with Paul. I think they make a good couple as Naomi understands Paul. So I don't think we need a new lady for Paul.

The Brennan Brothers have been employed for their looks especially Matt Wilson who is very wooden as Aaron.

Scott McGregor had improved as Mark.

Steph may buy the garage.

They are building up the Brennan Family but Matt Wilson who plays Aaron is weak.

I would love to know what's going to happen with Brad/Lauren/Terese in the long run.

We need more Robinsons IMO. Time to cast Madison and bring back Hilary.

I think the show needs some more ethnic characters- it only has Nate at the moment.
