Phil Mitchell

Right so everyone's turning their back on him (again) and it's leading me to wonder a few things.

• hasn't billy said he's done with Phil before? What makes it different this time?

• do you think Phil will end up at somepoint being accused of something in Lucy's murder, making the fact his famillys turned their back on him seem relevant?

• or are they leading up to another "who shot Phil"?

Cause otherwise I really don't see the point/ where this is going. Unless crazy chick try's to run him over or something.

It's because he hasn't thrown a dinner party and handed out wads of cash recently. How mean of him!

Clearly you don't watch it as he has handed loads of money to jay and Lola this week and got billy tickets to visit his son abroad

If someone did I hope that they would use an anti-tank gun this time to finish Mr. Invincible off for bloody good!

I'm sooooo bored of Phil always coming out on top. Ronnie and Roxy have become boring and Sharon's horrendous. I don't mind Ben and Jay though. Jay has at least been given something. Abi "Mitchell" is heading for egg on her face. Once Ben and Paul are well and truly outed she'll be out of the Mitchell household. Going back to Phil just about all his storylines are about winning and getting one over on people. Rinse and repeat. Surely TPTB can think of something else? Stick him in a wheelchair or something? He'd be great in a storyline like Patrick in Hollyoaks who has motor neurone disease. Maybe Phil can have Parkinsons disease. Would Steve McFadden agree to that or does he look in the mirror every morning and thinks "well hard me" before refusing to play Phil as anything other than top dog?

It got boring 15 years ago.

I simply cannot understand TPTB's total obsession with the character always winning no matter how ludicrous the situation.

Characters are always changed or written differently around the Philth so that he can come out on top.

I expect him to flatten both MIck and Buster this year after he chins Vincent (what a pitiful scene that will be).

Feuds, Poker, Pool, women there is only ever one winner and the fact that Ma Mitchell shares his bed after what he did to wind up poor doomed Dennis (which led to his brutal murder) is totally baffling.

The best character in EastEnders (along with Queen Sharon).

Long may he reign!
