06/12/2016 (Tue) 19:00 to 22:00 "Live Basel v Arsenal" - Basel host Arsenal in Group A of the UEFA Champions League at St. Jakob-Park. Arsene Wenger's side need to better PSG's result against Ludogorets to finish as group winners.
.
The almost dead rubber.

Not really sure why BT Sport put games like this on showcase (a true misnomer) that barely appeal to anyone. I'm an Arsenal fan and I may just about muster enough enthusiam to watch it come Tuesday night, but why would anyone else care? Don't they sell advertsing for this channel? It would have been better to have had Arsenal v PSG last time around and then looked at the last round and found a game where qualification was at stake like Benfica v Napoli or Lyon v Sevilla.

Suspect Arsenal will send out the second string for a goaless bore drawt.

I suspect because it is of no great loss to them putting it out FTA. If BT put too many important games on Showcase then some BT Sports subscribers would question why they need to pay for a subscription.

I wonder why it's on for 1 hour but still I'm looking forward to it.

Channel 5 are showing five Big Bash matches LIVE starting from Boxing day and will have highlights of the final.

It will be the first time that one of the PSBs has shown live cricket since 2005.

Thought BT had exclusive rights.
Or they sub contracted to 5?
Will we see BT Sport ads at breaks?

I did a copy/paste from a download of the EPG, but I see it's been changed now.

Following the cricket on Monday 2nd is the start of a series "Ride with Norman Reedus" where he explores the Pacific Coast Highway. Bit of a departure from the norm.

Depends on your package.
Too many channels as it is for me. As for HD, on a 28" tv makes no difference I can see.
Nice basic package for me, with Live Showcase stuff. So seems none of the highlights stuff that I guess is on freeview.

Hopefully Ashes highlights will be on all platforms.
