It does not really bother me that Max has been arrested for Lucys murder i would prefer he went to jail than Bobby finding out that he killed Lucy because it could really mess him up

Because we know he's innocent. You'd think the Mitchells would know what it feels to have a family member falsely accused of murder. Sam was in jail for several months when Chrissie framed her for Den's murder.

Max is a terrible father with a sex addiction and an awful temper but he didn't murder Lucy so we should care as nobody deserves to be put in prison for a crime they didn't commit.

As for Bobby I'm not convinced he deserves it either. Lucy was hit on the head several times and it was probably the culmination that caused her to die.

I feel sorry for Max and he doesn't deserve to be locked up even though he is a terrible father. Max is a decent man and he had far too much misery in his life. Team Max.

Max put himself in that situation though so I cannot feel too sorry for him. He messed up his daughters lives, ruined his girlfriends career etc.

He shouldn't be in prison, but it's his actions that put him in there. He needs to start learning from his mistakes.

Team Max all the way! The character does need a rest, but I hope when he comes back he is a bit like the max that first appeared on the square! I'm really hoping he doesn't languish in jail for too long as that would be twice Ian has let him rot in there for a crime he didn't commit. I'm surprised he hasn't actually made reference of that to Jane!

I like Max too, but I have to say I am looking forward to having a bit of a break from him. The character needs resting and when they brig him back they need to take him in a new direction.
