There is a chain, Coffee #1, with branches in Wales, South West and South East England. It has Welsh owners, which I found out when I read an article about their plans to open a branch in Brecon.

Their coffee is one of the tastiest I have had, a kind-of Welsh Pret A Manger (although Pret do have 2 branches in Cardiff).

I'm not a coffee drinker but there is a branch in my local town, Stroud, and one in Gloucester and my coffee drinking friends really rate their coffee.
