Browsing problems on a Galaxy Samsung Tab S

I've got a Galaxy Samsung Tab S and have weird web browsing problems using the wifi at home (not tried it anywhere else). Some websites can be accessed fine (eg. Facebook) but others like TripAdvisor don't work initially and I have to keep retrying the URL many times until it eventually works. I get a similar thing with BBC News in that the front page works but not the subpages. The strange thing is that my PC is connected via the wifi and doesn't have this problem, only the tablet.

Has anyone else had this problem? And is there any settings on the tablet I should change?

The problem with this site is the ads which reduce most browsers to a crawl, especially the iPad 2. I recommend an ad blocker, which should improve the experience.
