They need a serious review on two CBB's a year.
If they are going to carry on they need to increase the budget. Sorry a lot of these people are a joke being called "celebs".
the guy who's only claim to fame is being the BF of a Fashion designer really is taking this to a new silly level now. We needed some funny people in there.
the other issue why the hell didn't they put Janice in there on launch night? 2 Million viewers so a load of nobodies go in there. You see someone like Janice they know at least some Mania will follow. another launch another balls up because they don't use the assets they have to the maximum.
to give some example of the budget issue Tila got paid 109,000 pounds for one night (MSN reporting though she wont get her fee)

I think the mess they made of the cannon task, where they ran out of time nominating Daniel Baldwin to be the third housemate to go to the tower would definitely have an effect on viewers.
I understand completely that to diehard fans it would be nothing as they'd come back for the next show anyway. But for any casual viewer it just looks like extremely shoddy production and would diminish many viewers' confidence in the show's production values.

Jeez, I know that it was on at 10:30pm on a Saturday in BH weekend, but that's still terrible
Tonight will probably be even worse because a lot will be out. Tomorrow we have to hope that it climbs back to the 1.6m+ to avoid it being in dangerous territory.
I've always thought summer CBB was not needed, I'm liking the series, but they should only have CBB on January especially on C5, it's just overkill. Maybe after this series, they should cut it out and just do summer BB and winter CBB.
X Factor started with 7.6m, 2m down on the 9.6m last year, and was the lowest launch since 2006.

Agreed, the football flopped anyway with around 450k before it.
Looking at the rating it is terrible, however, CBBs share was almost 7%, if we think that CBB14 last summer was averaging 1% less on a Saturday (but getting 1.2-1.3m) proves that a lot of people were not home.
Last night climbed to 1.17m with +1, it was 260k on the day before but still poor. However, it is not surprising with Saturday and Sunday being in the Bank Holiday weekend. In theory, just like it always does after a BH weekend, it should climb quite a bit, and I predict around 1.4m-1.5m, if it doesn't climb to that, then we have a bit of a problem.
Predictions:
Tonight- 1.40m
Tomorrow- 1.46m (there's a live show but no eviction?)

a bright spot among the gloom , it's a shame that channel 5 have never valued what live streaming has to offer
i thought launch night would break 2 million as competition appeared to me to be relatively weak
i think the cast is low rent so no surprise ratings so far
whatever the real reason for booting out someone so soon , it's shambolic
its all set in stone now , only interest for me will be the final night rating
