Yeah.......there's just one thing you're forgetting. The item was built with the mass market in mind. The kind of people who want to click and go, and not be saddled with some weird issue when they install an "upgrade".
I mean, y'know, the vast majority wouldn't even know what a factory reset was, let alone why it should be necessary to do one. When you buy a TV you don't expect to need TV repair mechanic knowledge, and it's kind of the same with a tablet. The end user shouldn't require advanced computing skills in order to be able to operate the sodding thing. All they want to do is watch you tube, play games and access their bank account etc
By the way, minus lollipop, the nexus isn't challenging at all. It's brilliant and very simple to use.
