The total invincibility of the Philth is the biggest joke on Eastenders.

All of his storylines are so dull because you know the ending before they have even begun.

He will win.

The crack addiction could have been interesting except for the fact that he went from a urine stained and desperately ill tramp to owning about half the square in two minutes flat.

It was an insult to the intelligence.

Nothing will ever change.

Pathetic and so very boring.

Exactly! What's the point of his storyline if the audience knows how it will end every time? I agree it's boring and pathetic. I wish the story liners would finally come up with something new!

He blindsighted him, so Vincent was surprised and caught off guard.
In a straight up fight, Phil would be mince meat.

They never will.

I have been waiting since Steve Owen for someone to end his preposterous antics but if one of the biggest gangsters in London (Johnny Allen) was reduced to quivering before him in a fluffy pink jumper then nothing will ever change.

TPTB are totally deluded about the Philth.

And what annoys me the most is that so many excellent characters have been ruined over the years just to make their tinpot God look good.

His storylines are so incredibly boring.

Mitchell wins yet again.

Who cares?

Exactly. That's the only way Phil can fight now, creep up on them and take them unawares.

Can't wait for Phil's downfall at the hands of Vincent and Claudette

I'm quite excited about what Claudette and Vincent have on Phil. I really hope they win. Claudette is very mysterious and I find her interesting. I hope it isn't a let down when we find out more. I think she is Les's mistress after all. I don't know what else their secret could be.

I totally agree with your point, though.”

Agnostic can be used as an adjective to mean you're unsure of something. One definition from the website you linked is 'having a doubtful or non-committal attitude towards something'.

Yes there are older men (ie Terry Adams) who can still strike terror into people but I don't buy Phil Mitchell beating up Vincent who clearly works out and is a criminal himself so should be able to fight. OK Phil works in the garage but so has Jay worked there and he's got no muscle at all! What with little Bobby killing someone with a wooden jewellery box and the never ending Big Bad Phil saga I just despair with EE!
Maybe one day Sharon will hit Phil over the head with a frying pan / rolling pin while he is asleep and will finally, finally kill him off! I would love someone to finish Phil Mitchell off once and for all! Imagine if IAN does the deed after years of Phil bullying him! OK they get on better now but I'm past caring who kills Mitchell so long as someone does! Even Billy!”

You are obviously ignorant to the fact that if some guy strikes when you do not expect it, most likely, you are going down and besides, advanced age does not decrease punching power.

Obviously if it was a straight one on one, Vincent would off realistically ran circles around Phil in a fight, not to mention that Vincent probably has gangland contacts of his own.

If anyone is ignorant it's you. You are always telling other people on here that they are "ignorant". What you are is very rude. I've been hit by men myself so I am not ignorant when it comes to being hit and I'm not talking a slap round the face I'm talking punches and having my head banged against a wall. I've been knocked out. I have also been gang raped. I strongly suspect you are not the badman you would like all of us to believe you are "iceman". In fact I bet you read a lot of true crime books and think you know it all from them

When did i apparently imply that i was a 'badman'? Just because my username has the words 'iceman' conjoined with my username, does not instantaneously mean that i think that i am a gangster or 'badman' not to mention that you made false accusations of me randomly calling every other specimens on this site, 'ignorant' but nice try, proving to me that you are indeed extremely nescient, ok little guy.

You brand me discourteous for admonishing the truth? then i suggest you get a new hobby because the internet is obviously not for you.

This is correct. What a lot of posters don't seem to understand.

Have read comments from some saying why Vincent was just lying there taking a beating. Obviously these people have never been beaten. You don't just get up after that beating. Phil caught him by surprise and made the first punch count by knocking him down, phil knew he had to and before Vincent could recover and thrn phil stuck the boot which made it impossible for Vincent to get up.

I agree but it makes me wonder what Phil thinks he is going to achieve by this sneaky beating. Does Phil expect Vincent to play nicely with Sharon now running the Albert This seems highly unlikely and likewise that Phil will ever have any physical threat over Vincent again as he's hardly ever going to have the element of surprise ever again.

It all seems a bit stupid really. I like Phil but really feel by now he should be using his nouse more and supposed brawn less.

That's exactly what Phil was hoping that Vincent shows him some respect. Like you say its not gonna work because he's not scared of Phil. I don't think Vincent will batter Phil, he'll be more clever than that. How he'll get revenge I don't know.

Yes he caught him by surprise but a lot of the complaints are really due to that some of us are just so sick and tired of all the King Philth bull that we are subjected to year after year.

When will he ever get the brutal kicking he so richly deserves?

Never.

TPTB will make sure of that.

He blindsided Vincent taking him down quickly then battering him while he was on the floor unable to defend himself, in that scenario someone could get the better of a younger and harder person as Phil was seen to do. Personally I think to make it a bit more believable they should have had Phil batter Vincent with a chair or bar stool or some sort of weapon to take him down then have him lay the boot in.

Phil is a big tough guy but he is heading towards sixty and shouldn't be portrayed as being able to match up to people physically like he once could, these days it's more about him using his reputation and dirty tricks. I would hope that if Eastenders ever screen a fair scrap between Phil and Vincent then Vincent would win fairly easily.

They did at Christmas. Phil tried to hit him but Vincent was too quick and ducked and then decked him. That was why Phil did it that way to catch him by surprise.

Yeah but that was a quick scuffle where although Vincent came out on top it could have been put down to luck, the scene did do a good job of making Vincent look like a tough guy who can handle himself and is possibly more than a match for Phil though, but it wasn't a convincing enough scrap to really give Vincent the throne as new Walford hard nut.
