When Claudette said something like don't let Phil know we're on to him, wonder what she meant? Certainly had nothing to do with the beating.

One of his best works imo

Such a simple premise but by god that dog is barking
I'll have to look that up. At least I've got some culture tonight!

It's not really his fault he got beaten up though, that would be Phil's fault
Yeah but he got beaten up because he's been picking a fight with Phil, whose reputation precedes him. If Vincent wants to be a proper family man, he should give up the dodgy dealings and get a proper job.

The good thing about Bournville is that you are not likely to bump into Shirley Carter.
Nor even trip over her

Buster and Denise would make a good pair....
Why can't Denise have a non-criminal

It's not like Kim will get many better offers.
Harsh but true

Libby still at Oxford she has been there about six years.
Why is she there all the time. Universities close down for holidays.

My guess is that Chelsea has had a sex change.
Will she me re-made in Chelsea ?
Does anyone else find Kim's crying unintentionally hilarious?
She ain't the best of actors

Roxy is old enough to be his mother.
That's the way The Rapist likes it.
I do think Les is a cross-dresser actually and Claudette is the only one who knows
If Leslie wants to be Lesley, he needs an awful lot of packing to fit into Claudette's clothes.

Why would Phil be scared of an obese, middle-aged woman? He lives with one.
Ooooch

I'm confused. Why would Kim dump the father of her child, who she loves, for getting beaten up? Denise was acting as though he had attacked Kim.
He got dumped for being beat up

Denise and Patrick were making the point that Vincent will bring trouble to Kim and her young child's door, as proved by him returning home battered and bruised with a flimsy excuse.
Kim was quite happy to big it up at their bar but she can't deal with the consequences.

This was perhaps the best Claudette performance on EE so far. Suddenly more intrigued by her. Just END the storyline with the Cokers and let her go to war with wheezing Phil.

Poor Kim. But a nice show of family bonding for The Foxes.

Squiggle has been at Oxford forever...

What has Chelsea done this time then.

The one time lording over Roxy might be Ronnie's good point.

Pam

Claudette, mob boss? xD

Really felt for Kim but good on her ditching Vincent
Why are Claudette and Vincent going after Phil?
What are Chelsea and Libby hiding? They have to revisit this at some point
Go Ronnie

How to utterly emasculate two new 'hardmen' in favour of the wheezing old potato in the space of two episodes.

The Buster that we know would have helped out a mate not left him to get a good kicking.

But no.

I fully expect the Philth to knock out Mick, Gavin and Buster this year.

Oh and Wlad Klitschko as well.

TPTB must have a shrine dedicated to the fact he is totally invincible, there is no other explanation that I can think of. They probably kneel down and worship every day whilst giggling like little school girls thinking of ways to make him look good.

All it means is that the new 'gangster era' is going to be so incredibly dull with the Philth eternally 'owning' everyone.

The highlight of night was hot Claudette - what a woman!

At least because she is female we will not have to put up with even more ludicrous Mitchell fights.

I thought it was implied that Buster didn't want to get involved as Vincent had done him over with the promised work, not because he was scared of Phil. Plus all his years in prison he probably learnt not to get involved in other people's fights.

Yes you are right but it just annoys me.

Buster is supposed to be rock hard and he knows how the Philth has treated Shirl and threatened Dean in the past.

Imagine if it was the other way around and Buster had mistreated Sharon and threatened Lady Ga Ga?

It's very bad writing to make their God look good.

When Vincent arrived I actually thought the writers had finally got over their preposterous potato worship.

I was wrong.

Why is she there all the time.
She graduated and got a job there - it was explained when Denise visited her the day Lucy was killed.

Universities close down for holidays.
I wish - none of the ones I've ever worked at do.

Roxy is old enough to be his mother.
Dean is 27 and Roxy is 37, so that's a frightening age to become a mother!

In any case, I see nothing wrong with the age gap. If it was th other way round I doubt you would have said anything.

Kim's crying was unintentionally funny it was so bad.

On the one hand Claudette scares me, on the other I don't know how she can stand up straight without toppling over.

Vincent's overacting/stupid faces was annoying. Kim's crying was hysterical. Thank god Libby's visit was quick. Don't get Roxy and Dean. Go away Ronnie. Just tell us what Les is up to already. Not a fan of this episode.

Did anyone else think that Rita Simons has had some work done on that hideous tattoo on her upper arm? It looked a lot duller.

Big improvement.
