Brookside's depiction of the actual crash was much better, but I have absolutely no doubt that the best is yet to come. KO has apparently stated this is character driven and more about that than the special effects, so I have faith that the next few days will deliver........fingers crossed!
I wonder how much it cost Brookside to do, I'm sure I read it cost a million for the helicopter... Or maybe that was for the full stunt. Not sure.

Yeah I remember someone posting an aerial shot of Lime Pictures a few years ago which showed the old garage and the helicopter still on the forecourt!

The Brookside petrol station is opposite the Hollyoaks Hospital in real life. It's hidden behind a wall but is actually still there. They occasionally use it in Hollyoaks as a location for kidnappings and murders. Fraser Black was killed there.

it was used for Frasers murder, Ste was left tied up there & Ste also beat up Finn there too. It also still has the fire damage

The budget for the episode was not as much as we first thought as the rest of it went on Ross Bartons years supply of Hair Gel
