I find it really odd, that both Roxy & Kim, let others tell them who they can go out or marry. I'm married now, but when I dated, I decided who, not a family member. Very strange, to break up with someone you like, because your sister doesn't approve. Where Is the backbone?

Yes this seems to be a big thing in soaps - in particular the family has to approve.

If I wanted to marry someone and my family said not to, I'd tell them to do one

Ronnie's been controlling Roxy and her decision with men since they arrived on the Square.

Remember when Ronnie tried to make it seem that Roxy's fiancé Damien was trying it on with Ronnie?

Usually Ronnie is wrong to interfere with Roxy's relationships, but on Dean I don't blame her. Ronnie barely even knows Linda, but she knows what it's like to be raped (Archie) and not get any justice.

I think Denise and Patrick should've just told Kim to let Vincent cool off instead of 'ending' it with him. Much as I like Denise, her track record with men hasn't been any better. Owen, Lucas, Yusef??

Well to be fair to Ronnie, she is usually right about Roxies relationships and in this instance, it is better to be careful around Dean.

Roxy should still tell her to piss off though, it is her own choice that she believes Dean, not Ronnies.

She could, but what if Dean ends up raping her as well, or attempting to do so?
