Firstly, this is one of the storylines that really genuinely interests me. I hope they return to Kath do as I'm really intrigued. I feel it will probably educate people anout how devastating brain damage can be (I've no personal experience of it,so I'm hoping I will learn more with this storyline)

I'm curious to know to what extent is Kath's brain damage as I'm not sure if it's ever been mentioned that much on screen. We've only seen Kath in hospital scenes lying on a bed. I do recall Lindsey saying that Kath was still alive "physically" which must means the brain damage she suffered as a child was very bad.

Also, was it ever explained why none of Kath's family ever visit her in the care home? I know Lindsey and Kim's parents probably placed here there so she would get the best possible care, but it seems Kath never gets any visitors, apart from Kim? I can sort of understand Lindsey not visiting (out of guilt) but it seems her parents never see her, which is odd

I'm really looking forward to seeing this story play out, I don't think it's ever been done before in a soap either so hopefully they do it justice. HO will surely be working with some brain damage foundations. Anyone else excited about this story?

If I recall right Kath nearly drowned and her brain was starved of oxygen. Not much has been said about her really other than her sister blaming herself for going after a balloon I think and Kath somehow ended up in the water of a pond / river in the park.

Kath's the GHK secretly rising from her bed to strike, however everyone will blame Kim.

Honestly, this wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Ha ha ha!! This is so funny. I would laugh my head off if it was Kath as the Gloved Hand Killer

I do actually really enjoy Hollyoaks. I don't mind that it's silly. I prefer it now that it's not just all focused on younger people. I'm not sure Celine is the GHK culprit but it's looking that way. I have wondered if it's Lindsey.

I just googled and as Kath's near drowning caused her brain damage, she might have Anoxic brain damage http://www.brainandspinalcord.org/tr...ury/index.html

From the way Lindsey said Kath was physically there, I take that to mean that she has severe brain damage. The article mentions persistent vegatative state where the person is not aware of anything around them. This would tie in with what Lindsey has said BUT when Lindsey visited Kath at the hospital, Kath looked at her and seemed almost fearful...

Also at Kath being the GHK!

Yes, there is definitely something about Lindsey. If Kath isn't aware she wouldn't pull a face like that so I don't know. It is Hollyoaks though. I had forgotten about that so maybe Lindsey is the GHK?
