Oh no. One of my fave characters in Emmerdale. Why couldn't it just be Debbie instead.

Yes 100% going of them scenes, Debbie is too big a character I kinda knew it would one of the lesser characters.

But there is more yet for sure.

Alicya was wasted on Emmerdale I thought, which is a shame because she's a great actress.

Gutted Ruby's dead.

yeah I agree she is a great actress and they definitely should of given her more to do during her time on Emmerdale.

I liked her too. I didn't want any of those three to die. Very good scenes, though.

Realised how little I care for Debbie tonight, genuinely couldn't care whether she was dead or not. Sad that they seem to have gotten rid of one of the nicer characters in the village instead, who had plenty more to offer now Ali had disappeared.

I've not seen Alicya in anything else but she seemed more than capable of dramatic stories from the rather fleeting glimpses she was given something more meaty than serving people in the cafe. Sad that every storyline they gave her was put on fast forward before being forgotten completely.

Have to agree. Away from Ali she was great and she was a talented actress who was wasted. I hope she finds work else where soon.

I believe Ruby had a tough shift at the cafe so she decided to go for a nap

I can't even remember Ruby's surname - that's how much attention I paid to her during her time on ED

She makes (produces/directs) films. Won an award at Cannes (or somewhere like that) with the last one.

The actress was wasted in ED. A shame she's dead, the best of the Spencer family who have otherwise been a failure. They should've killed off Ali instead. Will Ali even show her face in the aftermath? She's barely been in it the last few months.

The announcer said watch an interview with the actress 'as we say goodbye to Ruby'

How clean was that wedding dress when she was pulled from the rubble, not so much as a snag either!!

I agree about Ruby.....in my mind she was gonna get with Dan and they were going to have a lovely life together.

Sadly the producer had no idea what to do with a decent actress, the producer couldnt figure a way of having her in a storyline in which Debbie couldnt be in , so she had to go

The producer only has time for about 3 characters,, the rest are just filler

I meant 'those three who shared those scenes' (Ruby, Kerry and Dan), rather than 'those three who died'. Yes, only Ruby has 'carked it' so far, but all three are still in the rubble.

They boxed her into a corner by sticking her with Ali in the first place. With no other lesbians around it meant she couldn't join the usual merry-go-round of affairs, cheating, surprise pregnancies etc, which are the only sls Soaps want to do these days. Come to think of it, maybe it's just as well - we've got more than enough of those already.

What exactly happened to Ruby? I know some on here said they saw the plane hit her, but there were others beside her so surely they'd be knocked out too? :/ I covered my eyes when the camera zoomed down, all I saw was blood through the corners and it was way too realistic for me :/ Brilliant scene with those 3 though!
