I often wonder who will be in our favourite soaps in 20 years time ! The actors that i reckon are in it for the longhaul are
Letita Dean ( Sharon EE)- Since her 2012 return i think shes back for good.
Jessie Wallace ( Kat EE ) - Although she takes regular breaks i think she'll stick with EE provided she gets the storylines
Lacey Turner ( Stacey EE ) - Although she left upon her returm she stated that making eastenders is what she does best and she loves the show and stacey.
Alison King ( Carla CS ) - She really is a modern day matriarch in my opinion and i think she is a new age deidre barlow or rita
Debbie rush ( Anna CS ) - Another strong force who i think is going nowhere.

There just some of my predictions what do ye think ?

I'm not sure about Alison King with her leaving it does feel like she is testing the waters I hope she does stay but she must be bored out her mind on Corrie. My guesses are those I think Eastenders will want to stay, there are others who I think are in it for the longhaul but they won't last.

EE
Jessie Wallace
Kellie Bright
Lacey Turner
Bobby Beale diff head
Adam Woodyatt
Gillian Taylforth
Jake Wood
Jo Joyner
Diane Parish
Rudolph Walker
Barmaid Tracy
Steve McFadden
Harry Reid

I think DTC has built strong storylines for the futiure with all the baby's born, Lexi and Ben and Matthew for the Mitchell's, Stacey and Martin to carry on the Fowlers is really important, I still think in 20 years the Fowlers, Beales, Mitchell's will all still be the main family's possibly the Branning's. DTC had loads of complaints about the amount of babies being born but he has built a future for the show's main family's.

I think Alison King is leaving Corrie? I'm not certain but I read somewhere she's leaving. Debbie Rush as Anna Windass drives me mad. I cannot stand the character and I don't like the acting. I can see Lacey Turner sticking around and would like to see a mature 40 year old Stacey on Eastenders. I bet she'll look lovely too at that age
I can't see Jessie Wallace in anything but Eastenders or EE related spin off. So if she gets the stories I can see her wanting to keep her job. I cannot stand Sharon on Eastenders and particularly can't stand Letitia Dean's acting. I really hope she gets written out. I'd like Phil Mitchell run over to death. Obviously I don't want Steve McFadden run over. I've had enough of the Mitchells quite frankly!

Using character names because don't know all the real names:

David Platt
Fiz Brown
Maria Connor
Kirk Sutherland
Tyrone Dobbs
Chesney Brown

Victoria Barton
Debbie Dingle
Sam Dingle
Marlon Dingle
Belle Dingle
Laurel Dingle
Ashley Thomas
Andy Sugden
Paddy Kirk
Jimmy King

Didn't expect to name so many Emmerdale characters, but I think all those actors have shown loyalty to the show and I don't ever see them leaving unless pushed.

Antony Cotton in CS. They'll need dynamite to get him out.
Brooke Vincent.
Kim Marsh.

In fact, nearly all the CS stalwarts. They'll only go if they are pushed.

Cain in EE, unless the unthinkable happens this week.

Antony Cotton! Now there's a mystery. Just why is he kept on? Sean Tully is probably the worst character played by the worst actor in soap, in all the history of soap! I absolutely loathe him. One of the funniest things I've seen on Twitter is a forum member from here telling him he needs acting lessons! Antony Cotton never the professional went mad. He really reacted and it still makes me laugh! I won't say who it was, forum rules and all that but lots of people know who it is.

This was what I was referring to. Antony Cotton being told he simply can't act and should spend his fortune on lessons I'm still not saying their forum name though. If he wants anyone to know he can PM them.

EE

Letitia Dean - she has repeatedly said she wants to stay on EastEnders for many years and she will never be axed. Letitia is loved by the EastEnders cast and crew.

Gillian Tayforth - she loves EastEnders and was devastated when Kathy died. She's obviously happy to be back in EastEnders. I can't see Kathy leaving soon and the EastEnders cast and crew are over the moon that Gillian is back on the show.

Lacey Turner - she said she wants to stay for good.

Adam Woodyatt - for obvious reasons

Steve McFadden - he has been there for 25 years and I can see him staying for another 25 years

Jake Wood - he has been very loyal to the show and I can't see him leaving for good.

Linda Henry - brilliant actress and I think she loves having high profile storylines and she's the best Carter (in my opinion)

Jason from Corrie will be there forever - I just can't imagine him getting other acting jobs apart from panto. Same goes for Fiz, Sophie, Kevin, Steve and Eileen.

Not because of his acting ability nor memorable story lines but Anthony Cotton seems to have a job for life.

I can only presume he knows where the "bodies are buried".

EE:
Old timers-Steve Mcfadden, Adam Woodyatt, Leticia Dean, Perry Fenwick, Gillian Taylforth,Ruldoph Walker, Goes without saying. I can't see Lacey Turner quitting again anytime soon, she may go off on a break at some point to do other things but I don't think she will leave permanently again. Rita Simons is another I don't think will leave and I hope the likes of Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright will be the same. In terms of the younger actors I do think Lorna Fitzgerald, Jamie Borthwick and Harry Reid all seem very committed to the show. I would say Shane Ritchie and Jessie Wallace but we don't know what is happening with them at the moment.

Why do they feel the need to post that to someone they don't know though. Of course he was going react like that, whoever that poster is was being rude.

I'm amazed that Antony Cotton has fans on Twitter.

What on earth do they see in a very poor (and by all accounts unpleasant) actor playing a one dimensional character? Sean's had no development in 11 years. He's still sponging off Eileen's hospitality and trotting out his clichéd one liners.

I don't think much of Antony, but Antony destroyed him.

Most actors who have been in soaps for over a decade don't tend leave. A few exceptions like Kate Ritchie, Julie Hemsaldgh.

I'd say a lot of these actors in Corrie are in for the long hall: David Neilson, Jane Danson, Simon Gregson, Sally Dynevor, Ryan Thomas, Jennie McAlpine, Samia Ghadie, Kym Marsh, Antony Cotton etc.

I don't think Tina O'Brien will leave again

For EE I would say Adam Woodyatt, Letitia Dean, Steve McFadden, Rudolph Walker, Lacey Turner and Jake Wood are the ones in it for the long haul.

Most of the EE mentioned plus Diane Parish who I don't see leaving

Hollyoaks - Nick Pickard, Jimmy McKenna, Helen Pearson, Ashley Taylor Dawson and Jessica Fox I can't see leaving unless they're axed which is unlikely

Neighbours - Obviously Jackie, Alan, Stefan and Ryan but I also can't see Eve Morey (Sonya) leaving any time soon, I think she's in it for the long haul as is Collette Mann (Sheila)

Actors who aren't capable of getting acting work elsewhere except Panto. The only people to stop them sticking like glue are producers who decide to get rid of a specific character. The longer they've been there there the more glue becomes like superglue. The character is there for life Bill Roache/ Adam Woodyatt. Others come back and they've learned grass is not always greener. Poor actresses in EE to name but two. Safely are and will be super glued in!

Anyone else literally laugh out loud when AC said that guy's grammar was appalling and he replied "Just like your acting." Good comeback.

Emily Symons, Georgie Parker and Ada Nicodemou on H&A. As well obviously as Ray Meagher and Lynne McGranger

Tracey
Maria
Tyronne
Chesney
Dev
Windasses
Beth
Michell
Steve

On the other hand, why should this forum's opinion only matter? Maybe others don't feel the need to jump on the Cotton hating bandwagon which has become an obsession on here.

To be honest I'm quite happy for most of the names on this list to stay!! Ches is a bit of a nonentity these days, who has never really had s/l's as an adult, same with Sean but the rest of them are Corrie's backbone once the older cast members go, and are the icons of the future!! Actually just noticed Tracy's name there, I'd axe her tomorrow but that's just my intense personal dislike of the character!! (Not the actress who I reluctantly admit plays the part well!!)
