This may not be a popular choice but can I say how impressed I was with Laura Norton last night! I very rarely post but I personally really like Kerry. It's about time they gave her a story to showcase her acting properly. 😉

Kerry's a great character. She's the comic relief but she can tackle harder hitting stuff when called for!

Very impressed! I thought she was the star of last night's episodes. I love her comedy stuff normally so it's even more emotive to see her as she was last night.

I agree - I do like Kerry (in spite of myself!) and I think Laura Norton is a good actress, but last night she was amazing.

I agree, she was fab. I loved that Kerry was the one to stay calm and take charge when that's not really what we normally might expect from her. She suited the care-taking role.

Popular with me! I love her. Laura Norton is really good at vulnerability as well as humour, and last night she showed us how brave Kerry could be as well, when Dan went into meltdown. Brilliant scenes.

Also, it's a bit weird since she'd been in a disaster and was crying, had smudged mascara etc, but Kerry looked really lovely last night.

Emmerdale deffo has the most rounded characters! I'm a massive fan of EE but I'm struggling to sympathise with anyone on it! ED on the other has a loads of them.

I thought so too..She normally has quite an hard look with all the black eyeliner and red lips...but with all the crying most of it had gone and it gave her a much softer look ..which definitely suits her..

I wish they would let Kerry be a proper Grandmother to Kyle and let her care for him..

Well said. I think you've summed up why I've stopped watching EE - I just found I couldn't root for such a detestable bunch of people who have barely any redeeming qualities among them and I no longer care about any of the characters. I'm just loving ED at the moment.

You know Eastenders is bad when the last character I rooted for was Janine who happens to be a murderer 😂

I like her usual look and the hot pink lipstick she often wears, I think it really suits her, but a more understated look was nice for a change. Not that she was deliberately going for a more neutral look, but yeah.

I thought her new look made her resemble Chas a little bit. In a good way.

Kerry was really good last night. She could've had a nice friendship with poor Ruby

I don't want to sound like a hipster but I liked Kerry when it was unpopular to like her...now I don't like her.

Laura Norton was excellent in last night's episode. A very strong and impressive performance which showed off her talents.

I never noticed but now you've said that I can see a slight resemblance to Chas.

Aww, she really could. I like Kerry around female friends, she and Ruby are/were pretty different so could provide a nice contrast.

Always ahead of the curve.

Why don't you like her now? I think she's fantastic.

I still do like her I was just trying to an actual hipster. I think in real life we'd be mates, She's certainly someone I would like as a friend; always up for a laugh she's a pain in the arse.

I like Kerry anyway. Might not of done when she first came in but think she is fab now. Her little family with dan and amelia is great and her friendships with brenda and bernice.

Definately one chracter that benefited with character development.
