Oh OK! Yeah, she's fantastic. Her telling crap jokes to a dying Ruby will stay in my mind for a long time, actually.

Personally, I'm so hip I've already gone off Robert. He's so July 2015.

I like her. I hope the villagers take her more seriously now when it (hopefully) comes out how calm and focused she was with Ruby and how she and Dan stayed with her to the end regardless of the danger. Hopefully they will no longer see her as a flakey, irresponsible, party girl. It would be nice if this prompted Kerry to go into nursing as Ruby was planning to. She has some good personal qualities which would make her a wonderful nurse. I could see her as being the sort who can boost patients or reassure them calmly. Hoping if Joanie survives she sees Kerry differently.

Kerryman was good last night, nice to see the less brash side of her.

Totally agree. I think it'd be lovely and quite touching if Kerry went into nursing (partly) because Ruby no longer can.

Hellooo you! Still reeling from one of your posts earlier this week where you declared your age and I realised I'm old enough to be your mum!

At what point did you start to dislike Kerry? I've liked her pretty much since Amy left.

Edit: just seen you've already answered that - so no need to repeat yourself!

She is a fab actress and the character has really developed. She is also looking really attractive these days too.

Yes. I agree even the characters i 'like' in EE either in enjoying watching them or understanding why they behave as they do are pretty horrible. They are solely lacking in well rounded, sympathetic characters, let alone genuinely nice ones.

Emmerdale on the other hand, the characters that have made dreadful mistakes or even acted maliciously still manage to mostly be sympathetic. Val would be my only exception, the one i really can so no redeeming qualities in at all.

I've always quite liked Kerry, yes she was an appalling Mum but she was very, very young. I've certainly always thought Norton has a true gift for comedy but last night really showed she can excel at the drama too.

What? You've always struck me as being in your 20s. Can you be my forum mother? Kidding I jest, I jest. Sulla fills that job. I'm glad you're enjoying ED, I won't stop until I get all my EE friends over to this side. Boss level: Dan2008.

Knew the lady was doing a good job portraying selfish self serving Kerry, but last night was a mix of a brilliant script craft and amazing acting.

She's excellent. Real character development over time in show. Down in part I'm sure to quality of actress.

I've always wavered with Kerry. There have been times when she's annoyed me, like when she got drunk while babysitting Sarah and Jack, encouraged Amy with harassing Joanie, the whinging about not being invited to the wedding this week, etc and then there has been times when she's almost been a favourite, like when she took the blame for Brenda's stealing when they were arrested, when she has moments with Bernice, and of course how she was there for Ruby this week. I hope they continue to gradually build on her good side (not make it an overnight change) and eventually have her become a part in Kyle's life (assuming him and Joanie make it past this week) and that maybe she does something involving nursing like Ruby wanted to. Maybe take a First Aid course to start with?

It totally changed my opinion of the character, and actress.

A brilliant actress, but I loathe the crude, vulgar character of Kerryman and I was hoping she would be sitting right in the helicopter's path.

I hate all the comedy stuff, but the character and actress were great last night (now I'm waiting for a telling off for using the word ''great")

Why do you think she's crude and vulgar? I don't see that in her. I think she's fun-loving, caring and compassionate.

Count me in. I really like her, and she has been a revelation in these disaster episodes - a star turn.

I was touched when Kerry and Dan stayed with Ruby despite the building in danger, and made sure Ruby did not feel alone and was able to share her dying thoughts.

Kerry was misguided but showed a heart of gold when she helped Amy kidnap Kyle.

Kerry and Dan have both gone up in my estimation for the dedication they showed Ruby at that tragic time.
