Yeah, they're running not doing well by their own act anymore. The typical person would be wondering why there's not even a little bit of anger towards the immediate Branning family [Carol included], despite Convicted Max, naturally, receiving the full wrath.

Claudette is fast becoming a favourite. Her line to Matthew about Ronnie was

The episode was all over the place. Donna is such a cow. I love the character of Claudette, but the actress isn't great. Poor Carol - such a brilliant actress, am sad she's leaving.
Les is a dopey sod, Pam has made it obvious that she knows about him and Claudette. In fact, she couldn't make it anymore obvious short of walking around with a big sign on her saying "I know you're shagging Claudette".

Sharon seeing Vincent (who looks like he has been in a car crash) and thinking him and the Philth were buddies.
That preposterous scene in the Arches - why did Vincent not simply beat Mitchell to a bloody pulp?
Regardless of what his mother said - he is supposed to be a powerful gangster.
TPTB really are totally clueless when it come to their little bald God and his apparent invincibility and limitless power.
Carol was the saviour of the episode - excellent acting from Lyndsey as usual.
