ED: I refuse to believe Ross will die tonight!

What i think will happen is Pete will attack Ross and believe he killed Ross then dump his body.

Cain will think he is responsible for Ross' death, meanwhile Pete goes into the 'dark place' that was mentioned. Maybe suffering from severe guilt. Maybe even causing huge blows between him and Debbie.

Whilst this is going on Ross is plotting revenge on Cain and Pete and maybe even tries to get back with Debbie.

I refuse to believe Ross will die because:
1) Michael Parr is an extremly talented actor with a large following, the producers will be mad to stop him from coming back completely.
2) What was the point of Moses being his son? Surley they would have thought out the whole of the years storylines together.

Noooo, I don't think Ross will die.

If he does, I'll be furious, because if this Debbie crap is his exit storyline, it's rubbish.

I doubt it

I don't think he will, but he might disappear for a while, and that could set the cat among the pigeons.

I hope he doesn't die but I am a bit worried for his character. I do think one of the Barton boys will die, as they have been at the centre of the disaster this week and I do think there is a twist with a big character being killed. So it is likely it could be Ross.

I feel like his character is only just warming up though, so if he is killed I think it will be a waste.

I hope that will be the case!

I'd hope it was that insufferable Joe 90 before Ross.

Have to be suspicious when I read one of the magazines state 'the seemingly lifeless body placed into a boot.

That's also what I thought even though mistaking a live body for a dead one would make Pete stupider than Sam Dingle. However, the DS article which claims more characters (plural) will die tonight has thrown me. I'm a bit 'meh' about Ross. I'm sick of his repetitive storylines.

Sadly I think Val is a goner and that is a massive mistake. I'm not her biggest fan but she's a modern icon of the show. Although the actress is leaving, there was plenty of scope for her to return down the line with Eric and Diane still on the show.

I think Anthony Quinlan said
Spoiler
that it will get 'very dark.' I'm not sure Pete killing Ross would be dark enough for ED. I could see Pete kidnapping and torturing Ross, or Ross doing a disapearing act and Pete being accused of his murder. I think they will get a lot more mileage out of it. Sorry none of my ideas are particularly pleasant for Ross

It all depends where Pete puts him. If he buries him or chucks him in the river, then he's dead but if he leaves Ross somewhere, I think he's not actually dead and will return.

Mike Parr's twitter suggests Ross is dead. I hope he's trolling us.

Even when Emmerdale have confirmed it on Facebook and Twitter, people still believe Ross is alive

Michael Parr has more or less confirmed on twitter, that Ross is dead

Wouldn't surprise me. He's well known for it.

Well if that was his exit, it was rubbish.

Unless they've got something better for him to do, not sure I care all that much right now if he's dead.

His curly hair was lush, but the whole Debbie story was a total bore.

Bye Ross (for now, maybe ... )

The emmerdale twitter has officially declared, Ruby, Val and Ross dead.

I still have hope for a shocker we'll just have to see.

Wouldn't be the first time a soap declared someone dead only for them to turn up later on. Wishful thinking as well lol

If he is dead that is such a waste. I mean they made him a father. What was the point of that if he was just going to die? So I think Ross will come back alive. Wanting revenge on Pete for nearly killing him!

Ross is now trending #1 in the UK on twitter

Agreed. The only way I'd believe he's dead is if it comes out that Ross isn't Moses's father.

And for the next cliche, in a cliche ridden episode, Ross wakes up.

It looks grim but the way the body was hidden gives hope. If he woke up he's be able to get out of that. Also it was pre-empted in the show how hard it is to find a pulse when Aaron thought Joanie was dead.

There is no way he can be dead. He is one of the shows strongest actors (if not the strongest) he'd get a better exit than that!
