No, she hasn't. As long as she's not on baby's birth certificate , she hasn't got parental rights. To be on birth certificate she'd had to go with Esther to register Curtis. Esther is in hospital , so of course she couldn't do it yet.

No. Only mother's husband can do it. If father is not married to mother, he has to go with mother to registry office and register child. If mother doesn't want to go with him, the only way is going to court , even there outcome is not necessary definite.

Yes, he can and given fact Esther supposed to be only a surrogate, he'd probably won access to Curtis . Unfortunely , fact , that Grace gave his egg and Curtis is biologically her, she's not mother in eyes of law and she can do nothing. Sad, but true.

I agree.
There was storyline few years ago, in 2010 I think, about Anita Roy, white girl adopted by Asian family. She's tracked down her biological mother and it turned out she was useless . It was the only one time , when storyline outcome was clear: sometimes children are better of with adoptive parents rather then biological ones and some people should be parents at all.
