It was fantastically camp within all of the drama. Such a fitting exit for her.

I wasn't a fan of the character but she did get a memorable, defiant exit.

Her death was brilliant. I didn't like Val but I thought she was killed off in a manner befitting the character and her last act was a selfless one in saving Diane

The sound as the glass fell was so gruesome. It's gonna stick with me for a good while.

Such a great death for a legendary character.

I've only just started watching - hate soaps - but the whole Robert / Chrissie thing has me hooked.

I loathed Val, but her death was brilliant, certainly fitting for the character and very gruesome. Camp, OTT and defiant, exactly the right exit for her, and I did like how such a self centered character's final act was saving her sister.
