I've never been her biggest fan, but I thought Moira was excellent in tonight's episodes too. Ah lets just give them all some sort of combined acting award instead of best actor/actress.

No not at all smart arse
it is possible to like more than one show and refrain from the tedious soap wars

I just think these threads turn into a slagging off fest..

Why can't Emmerdale be praised without mentioning other shows.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding brilliance once again from Emmerdale! Go KO!!!!

By far the best soap on the screen!

Eastenders and DTC should hang their heads in utter shame!

It was fantastic! Not been so gripped by a soap since EE Live Week. Brilliant Val & Diane scenes, Val was brilliant lighting her fag & saying 'Come on then, do yer worst' to the glass

Diane & Moiras screams made me teary. The explosions were brilliant, hope this weeks wins the show some awards at the BSA instead of the dross that is Corrie.

I enjoyed it. Of course I could nitpick things but I won't. Really good.

I hate when that happens, it's so annoying to get excited and be brought into the hype for nothing. I have felt that way many times watching soaps. For me my enjoyment was ten-fold knowing next to nothing about this week obviously I don't know how much you knew.

Yes, ED continues to be the top soap and this week, particularly tonight, has been excellent. Surely it must win some awards soon.

Fantastic stuff tonight, particularly the performances from Jeff Hordley, Natalie J Robb and Anthony Quinlan. I loved Val's defiance in the face of death too.

Well done to cast and crew.

Tonight's episodes were amazing. Fantastic exit for Val. Wish I could be more convinced about Ross' 'death' as I think if it was beyond doubt it would be absolutely epic for such a biggie to be killed off at the peak of his popularity. That would have rendered the eps almost flawless for me.

I enjoyed tonight's episode even more than the previous evening (and I LOVED the previous evening).

Leaving the brilliant effects aside - the acting for 98% of the time was bloody brilliant. I feel calling Emmerdale the best soap is a bit of a disservice at times - because its quite simply one of the best programs on TV. Full stop!

The Diane and Val scenes were the highlight for me. They were brilliantly written and both actresses did a fine job.

Voted but we all know the inferior soaps will walk away with the awards. Pointless exercise really.

Ruby, Val and Ross were well and truly KO'd!!

I'm wondering if they will throw in at least one more shock death for good measure?

Many articles have stated that 'several characters' will meet their maker "throughout the course of the week". Sadly, I think the graveyard is pretty chokka by now but one more wouldn't hurt while KO's on a roll!
