In the last year or so it has been fantastic miles better than the other soaps i wonder if Emmerdale could win Best soap at next years soap awards as i cant see any other soap winning it

It's good atm but once slimy Jai's back on screen it will go down hill again.

I would say Emmerdale stands a good chance of winning best soap at the Inside soap awards as they are in September. The problem is many voters have the memory of a gold fish and vote on what they are watching right now. So if a soap was amazing in February Voters are less likely to remember.

That is why Coronation Street always have a special storyline just before the NTA's. Not that this really helps the health of a soap. Will Emmerdale win best soap at the BSA's next year, highly unlikely.

No. The loony EE fans that give other fans a bad name will see that "the greatest series ever created" will win.

Don't count out the few hundred thousand stupid, stupid kids who still watch Hollyoaks and think that the Lovedays storyline is "boring" and the guy who plays Freddie is actually a good actor.
