Out of all the disaster and shock deaths in tonight's episode I couldn't help but feel bad for the poor pilot who practically burned to death when the helicopter exploded.
It's also sad to think that none of the villagers acknowledged his existence or even showed concern for his well being.

It would've been nice if he got atleast 1 mention.

He did get a nod I think! When Chrissie was watching the TV it said "Yorkshire crash - 2 confirmed dead"

Tho tbf I hadn't even considered it was the pilot and wondered if I'd missed something....

At that point only 2 had died, as it was before Val died. Mind you, just after Val died, the tv headline still said 2 people.

He was mentioned a couple of times during Thursday's episodes. Or was it Friday's? Definitely not Wednesday because I remember sitting there thinking 'what about the pilot?'
