The US and Canadian leg of the tour was sold out as was Spain and Germany. Girls Aloud are a local act, the Spice Girls aren't.

They cancelled those dates because the North American and UK legs were extended. Was that a bit unfair? Yes. Their 2007 greatest hits album hit number one in Australia so demand for The Spice Girls was there. Please do a little research next time

I'm not saying Spice Girls are a success only in the UK but for a group that sold 85 million records, it should have been much more successful than it was. I'm not saying it wasn't a success but the full Spice Girls reuniting should have been much bigger

I personally don't think they should release any new music as the music scene has moved on and they wouldn't gain any new fans from it. Look at S Club 7's reunion.”

That's a bit rich coming from a Britney fan. She hasn't sold out a complete leg in Las Vegas since leg two at the beginning of 2014. 80,189 tickets went on sale during leg seven at the beginning of this year, but she only sold 58,001. Celine Dion she isn't. A lot of the dates on the Femme Fatale Tour weren't sold out. It certainly wasn't the success The Circus was.

As for Victoria, if she doesn't want to reform then that's up to her. It doesn't mean she's forgotten where she came from, it means she realises that rejoining the Spice Girls isn't going to further what she is now. She's not the first Spice Girl to turn down a reunion.”

Completely agree. Thanks also for having my back against people who um.. let's just say need to have a cup of Chamomile tea, stroke their cat or dog and get off the internet for a while.

BIB - World tour means UK, USA, a few European countries and Canada if they're lucky. I doubt they will even bother with the Southern Hemisphere this time.

You are right about Victoria doing a few London concerts, I just don't think she wants to waste her summer trekking round different countries performing kiddy pop songs from 20 years ago in silly outfits and who can blame her?

I'd love if this comeback was more than a tour and two new songs

I will go see them no matter what but it would really suck if it was just 4 of them
Their last tour was amazing i wat this one to be only about nostalgia no need for any new material

Spice Girls were crap in 1996 and they are still crap now. They have no talent whatsoever.

A very well thought out opinion lol

I've no issue with the comeback as I'm sure it will sell well with 4 or 5 , I went to the O2 in 2008 which was great but won't go next year if it comes off as there wouldn't be anything else on the table to offer other than what they did that night , but great for the ppl who didn't get the chance around that time

I think Victoria owes it to the fans. She wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for them.

What's that suppose to mean? Had you been to any of their concerts or any vids of them in concert then you know they sing live

She doesn't owe anybody anything.

Victoria doesn't "owe" anyone. She did her time in the group. Excuse her for wanting to have a life outside Spice Girls and not be forever bound to it.

As for the reunion tour, I'd go if they performed Love Thing, Last Time Lover and Naked......basically all the underrated gems that weren't singles from their debut album.

Yes she did but without the band she wouldn't have the life or the husband she has now, she should embrace what made her rather than just dismiss it, I feel she should do this for the fans and even for her daughter as she did the last tour for her boys, then once this is done if the girls want to carry on as the spice girls and do further stuff as a band then they can do without her but as for the reunion which we all know is gonna happen should be conducted as a 5 piece

Dismissing it wouldn't be pretending it didn't happen, she isn't doing that by saying no. She's a 41 year old woman, she doesn't owe fans anything. Every project Spice Girls have done, Victoria has been a part of. If she doesn't want to do it, that's up to her. I don't see why she should feel forced to be involved in a project she doesn't want to be or why fans would want her to be forced to do it. Just leave the woman be.

Yeah agreed. It's choice. Same as with Robbie Williams not wanting to rejoin Take That for their recent tours. That's just the way it goes.

Even if they do re-form.. which I don't think they should.. it wouldn't be a huge loss if Victoria wasn't there. She wasn't the strongest singer (that's being kind). She was always on the fringes of the original group and if you think back.. it's weird she was even in it to begin with. What did she actually do? Could say that about a few of them actually.

The only one I really rated was Mel C.

Yeah I agree with that. Another Take That analogy, it's like if Robbie chooses to come back for the next TT tour but Jason doesn't. It would be nice to have all five there but if he wasn't, it wouldn't really affect that much. As long as the main singers are there, it doesn't really matter. Same with Victoria.

The biggest loss from Victoria not being there is months of tabloid crap about her always looking miserable and I for one can do without that.

The thing is when she's in the spice girls she's at her happiest at least that's how it looks, she does have fun doing it, I think people are being harsh on her simply because the sg are a 5piece and she is firmly part of that plus they are celebrating the band as a 5 piece and all the success they achieved and she should take credit for part of that success and reap the rewards plus she's never one to turn down exposure and the sort of exposure the band will bring will be sky high

That's just it when she's in the band she never looks miserable, when she's performing she's always smiling, even in the last tour they did, she looked very happy and content

Because she wanted to do it last time. Do you imagine she will be smiling and happy if she's forced by people slating her to take part?

I honestly think she will take part even for her daughter to show her what mummy used to do, like she did for her boys the last time, she has plenty of time to decide what she wants to do.

It was 20 years ago. Just because the primary school you go to makes you who you are, does that mean you should keep going back to it and acting like you did when you were at it? Victoria's moved on and got her own life now, the other girls are doing this for the money, not for the fans.

They are all millionaires so why do you think they doing it for money? Don't you think if it was for money they'd do more as a band, this is a very important moment for the band so why shouldn't they get together, p.s they only ever do it for the fans, unless you know something that no one else does
Hollie_Louise

Unless you live in Australia, South America, Asia or Africa. They don't do it for those fans.
