It's a shame to loose Val & Ross but I must say I would have expected a few more to die if I am honest can't help but feel a little bit more should have been killed off maybe another 3/4

Can a random drunk driver hit Adumb please? Poetic justice? It bothered me so much seeing that he got behind the wheel after sinking so many pints at the pub, especially after he almost killed Kerry that time and it's not even been that long since Victoria ran over Ashley. What will it take for the idiotic man child to grow up? I wish that Robert and Chrissie had roasted some marshmallows in the car fire instead of bothering to get him out!

Don't think so no, though i'm not sure, i think tonight's episode is the aftermath the morning after the night before sort of thing as Debbie is out of danger and everyone else is accounted for another death seems unlikely unless there is a shock that Emmerdale are keeping quiet about.

I think he has grown up, with his chat to Vanessa

Ah but it was skillfully written and we cared more about losing two good characters gradually, than simply shock by numbers.

I'm sure as we see Eric find out today it must be at least partly set the same day as the crash. I think another death is likely as we have only had two so far (Ruby's shock death - which many predicted last week and Val's which was predicted two although we knew she was leaving) a third death, Ross is most likely still alive, is not that unlikely a delayed reaction to internal bleeding (Judy Mallet, Audrey Truman, Emma Summerhayes and that bloke in Hollyoaks after the Minibus crash, and Mr C from HO too)

Now you say that I'm worried for Cain ... His speech to Kyle that he will never leave Debbie again and then there were quite a few references to him going and getting him self checked out??? Really hope I'm wrong ... Ross and Cain in a week
I couldn't cope with

I don't know if there are likely to be any more deaths to come as I don't read spoilers, but I think the characters we've lost have been big enough to provide a decent aftermath regardless and don't think it's a necessity that anyone else should die. Soaps rarely put thought into the aftermath of the deaths, preferring to try and shock people with the actual event but I think Emmerdale killing off some of the more well-known characters will be forced into doing a decent aftermath.

Will Diane's bang on the head turn out to be something or nothing? No way would "wonderful" Debbie and/or Ross would have died. Hopefully if there are three deaths the third one will be Marlon or Jai (oh please). No good having the pilot as the third death, that would be a cop out like the passing motorist in Corrie's tram crash.

We are left with all the crap characters still in it, while we've lost 2 great characters! An excellent chance to kill off all the dead wood not taken

I really wish Adam "Babes, Mate" Barton had been killed off. Terrible character. The actor shouts all his lines.

Eric's realisation that it was his action of locking Val in the maze that ultimately resulted in her death could lead to quite a powerful scene tonight. Chris Chittell is a good actor and this is his chance to pull out all the stops.

I hope there aren't any more deaths. Two funerals (possibly three if they find Ross) will be enough to sit through as it is.

Everywhere I go today I'm hearing about Emmerdale and the "Emmerdale bloodbath" LOL!

The way people are talking it's like the Biggest cast cull since the Moldovan Massacre!

Don't watch it normally, but I might check it out on Catch Up.

I agree. Awful, moronic, childish character who takes responsibility for nothing, and the actor is very poor.
Anthony Quinlan shouts all his lines too.

I think the 3 deaths summed up the characters perfectly

Ruby's death was calm, peaceful and understated. Which is how ruby was towards the end

Vals was over the top, theatrical, funny but poignant and camp as hell- just like Val

Ross' death was violent just like the character

It was a great opportunity for them to get rid of all the dead wood but they didn't take it

Yes really looking forward to Eric's scenes tonight. He always breaks my heart with the emotional scenes.

Would not be surprised If Eric will have a heart attack that might kill him too.

If they had killed deadwood though, would you have said that they weren't gutsy enough to kill off main characters

No what I meant was they could have killd Val, Ross and Ruby and also a couple of the more useless characters.

At the very least, those who have died so far utterly deserved it.
