She doesn't like the Mitchell's?. I take it Claudette knows the family from years gone by.

Yes it's been mentioned numerous times that Vincent and Claudette have known of the Mitchells for several years and of course Den Watts. We don't know the extent of their relationship with Den yet so as that is uncovered, I suspect that might have something to do with their hatred of the Mitchells.

Hopefully it's very interesting finding out how Claudette knows them and their history .

Yes I hope so, I have not really made a definitive judgement on Claudette yet. I like her toughness when it comes to the Mitchell, but she has an edge of nastiness that I don't know if I like or not. A few of her lines to Donna and Pam have been sharp to say the least and until we know what's going on with her and Les, I think it's difficult to make my mind up until then.

Vincent already said in the portacabin when he hit Phil that his Dad knew Phil from the old days

I think gavin is claudettes ex and vincents dad.

The rest of the year its going to be the mitchell show and everyone will be saying give the carters screentime 😀😀

She said "mitchell". At least that's what the iplayer subtitle said. I think that was a vile thing to say especially to an innocent thing like Matthew.

Yeah she said Mitchell tho the other fits but think there would be a whole lot of complaints today if she had sworn at a baby

I heard bitch on BBC Three though if she actually said Mitchell either BBC did some sneaky editing or I'm starting to go deaf

This week I've been really enjoying Claudette. The stuff with Pam and Les is pretty meh, but this potential showdown with the Mitchells could get very exciting! She has shown a lot of character this week. I think she might end up as the buyer of the Branning house with Max's temporary departure coming up.

Those norks though...she could take an eye out with them

Claudette and Les are the most unlikely couple to have an affair in all of the soaps put together. I cannot understand what either of them see in each other! lol

She is turning into a great character. The actress isn't the best but she's doing an OK job so far.

I thought she said bitch too!

Intrigued by Claudette and want to know more, she seems very mixed up. I dont think Richard Blackwood can act at all so dont envision him being long term, hard to see Claudette staying for long either as once Pam and Les is resolved not sure what else there is for her really other than more meddling with Kim, or meddling with Donna. It all feels a bit pushed in and forced really, I like her past with Pam and Les but mixing in Mitchell knowledge and Watts etc feels a bit much, next she'll be talking about Pat or something dumb.

I hope she does stay, would be nice to have a woman run the gangster stuff in the square. I mean hufflepuff (Phil) has been on top for too long. If claudette took over as the matriarch mafia it would be a change.

I like how the character of Claudette has been teased to us. I really like her. She's a real dark horse.

Vincent's father knew Eric Mitchell apparently, so the family are familiar with Walford past. I've a feeling Kathy's husband Gavin will know the Hubbards aswell. I reckon Claudette and Vincent will align with Gavin, to bring Phil down once and for all.

Phil needs to lose this status as "King of the Square" and I think that is what is going to happen. What Claudette's role in all of this is, will be very interesting to watch.

i love how Claudette was introduced as this really lovely lady who evidently does alot for her community in different ways and has slowly been show to be quite a menacing character

Oh ma Gawd. Knowing EE's penchant for naming the descendants of Den Watts after him I bet Donna is the result of him having a knee trembler with a random KP Nuts Saleswoman!

Bet he was in the Five Heartbeats too...
