aww poor Eric, that just made me cry. Sharp contrast to the rest of the week but those scenes with Eric and Val were beautifully done
Emmerdale is on another level |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I thought it was a brilliant and very poignant way of allowing Eric and Val to say their goodbyes. An excellent end to a superb week of ED imo.

An excellent end to a superb week of ED imo. ![]() It was one episode in which we did something a bit different - a chance for Val and Eric to say goodbye. It was well acted, well written and well directed and a change in pace for the last ep of a crazy week. Back to normal next week. For now... |

I expect it was Emmedale forgetting (or ignoring again) that some have watched for more than five minutes.
Have you forgotten (or ignoring again) that you've said this before, many many many times? Shakespeare had ghosts in more than one of his plays - are you going to slag him off too? |

He bored me to tears. Repetitive. A million apologies for a dodgy keyboard and a typo, which I'm sure you've never made |

I thought it was beautiful, a fitting send off and I'm glad Eric got to say good bye to her in his own way.

I often wonder what the SOR threads would be like if DS was around in Shakespeare's time.

I saw it. It was a bit cheesy but I thought the actor who plays Eric was good. Great portrayal of grief.
