He's been 'Blackburned' along with Gail, David, Sarah, Norris, Carla, Maria for a while, Tina before she was killed, Deirdre before Anne Kirkbride passed away, Sophie, Liz & a great many others, including seemingly Tracy now ( at least for a while)!!
This guy likes nothing better than changing people's characters completely just to fit them into a storyline!! He's even done it to Sinead, one of his own creations who started off a lovely, bright girl with a funny, quirky personality & has been transformed into a crashing bore seemingly somewhat light on brain cells!!

The cheek of Kev, after Tyrone keeping the garage going when he was 'away' in Germany all that time. Then saying to Sally he couldn't cheat on a mate like Tim, didnt other him when he was with Molly.
Michael LeVell is a great actor he doesn't get the credit he deserves. What's not true to his character though is his friendship with Tim he was never friends with any of Sally's previous ex's.

Yes yes, he left to tend to his sick father. But he has been back a year now so I don't see why that is relevant anymore.
We could argue same with Fiz who swanned off for 7 months and even since she has been back hasn't worked, yet wants a holiday. Don't forget Tyrone taking time off to clean Cathy's house.

In fairness that is one of Blackburn's better moves. Kevin and Tim work well together
