I've been trying to get Strictly tickets for 10 years! If you're successful let me know!

Do you get ads playing on the page and you can't workout where the noise is coming from?

It's awful now.

When you click on find posts for users it puts up stuff from several years ago rather than all the recent stuff.

Has The Apprentice ever started straight after GBBO at 9? That could put the GBBO lead-in to better use.

Another of those tiresome Emmerdale//EE clashes tonight - do the schedulers ever think of the poor old viewers ?

Too much competition tv is the reason I guess, Bake Off is Tense, TA is tense, too much in one night imo- Although I guess they could try the final of GBBO into the apprentice to give it a boost, but I think it'd probably do the apprentice more harm than good

Sometimes it is who you know with regard to the Strictly tickets

ITV schedulers only think about it being bad when X Factor is involved.

Another great rating for Bake Off. I expect it might go over 10m again as we head further into September/away from Summer.

I think most people are capable of recording or watching on demand than to sorry about how they schedule things.

The only people it affects are the BBC brigade.

Not exactly the phrase I would use. It's light and enjoyable for the most part when they're baking and then occasionally when something goes wrong it's tense, but in a good way!

Normally The Apprentice is a Springtime show. It moved re the election. Lord Sugars connections. But the BBC will not run two reality shows back to back. Apprentice will start when GBBO ends. It holds up well against IACGMOOH.

Thanks for the link Yorkie BBC4 looks like it is going to have a strong autumn. Really looking forward to the new series of The Bridge.

I think the first episode of Spending Secrets did very well, but that's it. I think Doctor Foster will launch above 5 million next week. I think it'll be compatible with Bake Off, and it also has a big name in the lead role, Suranne Jones so I can see this rating very well.

Yeah I thought the Nick would perform a little better than the other factual they've shown this week. Police documentaries always do well 99% of the time. That being said, ITV should be doing much better than that.

I have noticed that.

Sometimes it finds one page of results as well and other times 20 but still with recent posts missing, and sometimes it comes up 'no results' at all even though the poster in question may have thousands.

Which came first? At least the BBC can hide behind the retaliation angle and the fact that weekend shows with no fixed timeslots are different to the soaps. I don't think the BBC not wanting to put SCD at a disadvantage by starting it way too early is the same as one soap, already on six times a week, consuming the whole slot of another. If XF was strong these overlaps wouldn't even be an issue.

They're both as bad as each other but most times BBC leave ITV alone. Strictly rates better later in the evening. Something they realised in 2010. Both shows used to clash in the early years before they got big.

This is true. Whenever they have to reschedule EastEnders they usually avoid putting it against one of the ITV soaps.
