Will be interesting to see how the Football League highlights does at 9pm on Channel5, unusual timeslot for highlights, but there are some teams with big fan bases down in the football league.

How low do we think Keep it in The Family will be? It did pretty poorly last time and I'm surprised it's back. They clearly don't think much of it though with it being burned off on Summer Saturdays. It's a scorcher here too which I suspect will be the final nail in the coffin. It's had next to no promotion as well.
I'll go for 2.1m (inc +1). It isn't a bad show so it is a bit of a shame, but equally it doesn't really do anything we've not seen before. |

One thing of note that it is repeated just after Match Of The Day on Spike tonight, Also there is a repeat on Channel 5 tomorrow morning at 10am.
I see they've had to cut 5 minutes this week because MOTD starts as early as 10:20 meaning there could even be a slight overlap between the two shows. That's not an ideal start because it's going to be tight as it is fitting everything in. Not sure what to expect figures wise - respectable but nothing fancy I'd guess. |

Plenty of ways to watch but no doubt the rating for the 9pm showing is the most important. It's basically the reason why they won the contract over the BBC, so they need to make it count.

I think the lack of success of Keep it in the Family is the reason BBC are not bringing back The Generation Game.
The shows are fairly similar in format (though family has mated Gen Game with 321 and Crackerjack). They have a genial host (Bradley Walsh does this show about as well as it could be done). Theoretically Saturday night is ideal for it as it is in the Gen Game slot. If it cannot get viewers there then the BBC will have figured that even with Miranda Hart presenting a Gen Game revival would likely fare only a bit better. Though I wonder if they are thinking of asking Agnes Brown to do a pilot! Might be fun but would never be transmittable at 7 pm! |

Can I ask what your views with regards to respectable and fancy are? I'm not an expert but I'd reckon 800k would be respectable with anything over 1.1 million being fancy. Or am I way off? Just like an idea of what to expect to tomorrow. They've certainly started off with an unusual match.
The jury is very much out on the format with too much going on for a lot of the viewers. I expect it'll be tweaked a lot in the coming weeks if the figures don't meet expectations. |

Yeah, those look about right to me. I think many are expecting it to bomb completely though, perhaps remembering what happened with The Premiership on ITV.

Hello Campers down to 400,000 and a 5.9 share (inc +1) yesterday. Another disastrous daytime commission from ITV.

On the one hand, I'm pleased as my team (Leeds) got a decent amount of highlights shown, which was uncommon on the bbc. However on the other hand, the audience were a waste of time, technical issues, poor use of league table made it quite a poor first show for me. I'll give it time.

Do you have any other daytime ratings that you think standout? |
