Pleased to see Dragon's Den doing well. I think this series is very entertaining and the new Dragons have hit the ground running.

I think Partners in Crime is dropping because really, it isn't anything special, its not that good really is it? Well that's my opinion anyway. Its like ITV's Black Work - a bit meh.

4.6m still watching a rpt of Fake of Fortune? I'm sure if ITV gave BBC's line up a bit more competition it wouldn't be so easy to pull in the floating viewers.

Nice to see Nature Nuts rise despite a still poor figure. Bad scheduling has given ITV another sub 2m figure. What a collection they have made this year. They've had more sub 2m figures than any other year. Its just been flop, after flop, after flop. If it wasn't for the soaps , Ch4 would surely be challenging them on weekly shares. Can the bosses at ITV not see how much of a mess 2015 has been, even worse that 2014.

Just to point out that Countryfile was shown at 8 p.m. in Scotland as they had a local programme at 7. It was mainly a compilation edition in any case so a good figure.

Great for Dragons Den, continues to rise week after week.

I'm really liking the new dragons too.

ITV must be pleased with how well Julian Clary's series has rated since they have now scheduled anther factual series 'Animal Mums' in the same slot. And to make it even more stupid, BBC1 have only just finished showing a similar series this Friday just gone and that was below 3m.

Is anyone at ITV actually planning the schedule, or just flinging shows out willy nilly.

A quiz would be better at 7pm. Even rpt's of The Chase.

Are you sure, I'm sure it was new content? But I doubt a compilation edition, much like Fake or Fortune? in likely to affect the ratings for BBC1.

Can't believe they're actually putting another nature show in that slot. What's more is that from episode 2 Animal Mums is going to be leading into The X Factor! I don't think they've thought that through somehow.

Also unless it's a typo on the press centre, BBQ Champ is moving to Wednesday just for its finale, for some reason.

Really stupid. Its probably a nice nature series, but giving TXF a sub 2 lead in will not help it.

Sometimes they're scheduling is so poor, you do have to wonder whether they actually care. I know they are becoming less reliant on advertising, but that much they don't care how badly something rates?

BBQ Champ is moving to Wednesday - in the 8pm slot? How low can you go.

They clearly think a show like Animal Mums is a nice fit for a Sunday teatime slot. Which, to be fair, it is. But not against Countryfile. They should put it at 6pm and put a gameshow at 7pm into X Factor. A Chase repeat would be fine as that wouldn't even cost them anything.

Ah, I must have been thinking of the Clary show whose scheduling was criticised. Thanks to those who reminded me that Fogle replaced the cricket, so we have to make allowances for an unbilled showing, but still it was a poor choice. I can only guess it was all they could think of to fill the slot that probably wouldn't cost anything, being a narrative repeat (I assume, without checking). No refunds for the broadcasters if a Test finishes early, I suspect!

I agree with that - it doesnt matter who the big star is if the subject matter is poor. Black Work did not deserve the ratings it got and casting Walliams has killed PiC although the source material is as others have said not that good. Still I suppose taking it as a 3 parter the ratings have been good overall.

There are another 3 episodes to go yet so we'll have to see where it goes. I've not seen it so can't comment but I agree about Black Work. I think it probably only did as well as it did because it had Sheridan Smith in it. It might have worked better as a 5 or 6 patter rather than just 3 as well as it could have had a lot more depth that way.

So PiC is 2 three parters? sorry had not realised that. In that case it could continue to fall, although its competition will remain poor I suppose.

Partners in Crime was a three-part story followed by what looks like a standalone episode next week and then two others.

EDIT: Wikipedia says N or M? is a second three-parter.

Does anyone have the consolidated averages for the three big soaps so far this year compared to last year? Would be interested to know.

Yes it's 2 three partners. It'll be against Midsomer repeats again for the next two episodes. Not sure what the finale will be against. It might find itself against the first episode of The Trials of Jimmy Rose which I think is airing that night.
