Still great on second viewing but it would've been perfect without the visions being overused.

Skyfall (2012) 6/10

Not a huge fan, nowhere near as good as Casino Royale, and only better than Quantum of Solace because of Javier Bardem.

Hopefully Spectre, which we'll be seeing tomorrow, is more to my liking.

Convoy 1978 9/10 ...great trucking CB movie

On The Beach ...1959...8/10 scary and at times shocking film ...should show this to the worlds leaders about the dangers of nuclear war !

Primer - this makes Inception seem like Sesame Street in the mind boggling stakes. I need an aspirin 8/10

The Final Girls - horror version of Last Action Hero that fails due to a seeming disdain for the genre and lack of gore. Watchable though scrapes a 6/10

Hidden - pseudo zombie flick with some surprisingly large scale scenes for a low budget movie. A generous 6/10 Its ok

Take Me Home Tonight - 6/10

An 80's set coming of age story, featuring Topher Grace and Anna Faris. I'd definitely watch it again.

Spectre - 9.5/10

Really enjoyed this, it was like they'd remembered what Bond was all about. I much preferred it to Skyfall.

Watched Birdman on Sky yesterday. Makes a change to have something decent on Sky, although I did watch The Theory of Everything last weekend.

inside out. 6/10. Slightly over-hyped unfortunately

San Andreas. 6/10. A bit devoid of anything other than special effects but enjoyable mindless entertainment.

In 1984 a football loving Manchester scally nicks some old bloke's wallet. Old bloke turns out to be Sir Matt Busby who coaches scally's team to trophy glory (and frequently reminisces about Duncan Edwards and the Munich plane crash). "Inspired by true events" so I suspect the Italian scriptwriters made most of it up.

Gorky Park (1983) 7/10

80s thriller about a policeman investigating 3 brutal murders in Soviet-era Moscow.

Entertaining however has the feel of an airport novel.
