I can't bring myself to watch Sinister 2, the first one is up there as one of my favourite horror movies, the lawnmower scene is just genius.

My last movie:
Seven : 8/10.

I'm not sure how I feel about the last 15 minutes or so, loved it up to that point though. Really makes me want to re watch Zodiac too.

I watched this for the first time a few months ago, the window pane scene has to be one of the best deaths in a horror movie ever.

Man from Uncle
I thought this was really good with a cracking soundtrack and a great mix of adventure, style and comedy. Hope they do another one now that Uncle is formed.

Blessed are the poor in spirit
Cho Yeonghan was a pastor of a church in Korea. He was zealous in serving the Lord for decades and earned great respect from the believers. In recent years, the church became desolate day by day. More and more evils emerged, and even he himself was often afflicted by sin. Thus, he felt extremely miserable and confused…. After much consideration, he gave up his post as a pastor and left his denomination to seek the true way that could free him from sin. He visited several other denominations, but their desolation and degeneration brought him into severer loss and helplessness. Earnestly, he prayed, “O Lord! Where are you? …” Out of surprise, when investigating the word of Almighty God, he found that the Lord Jesus has come back and He is Almighty God, the last Christ.

This is more like it. True story of a journalist helping a former Magdalene laundry girl to track down the illegitimate son she was made to give away.

Yes, I'd agree with that.

Bridge of Spies

See thread.

Terms of Endearment

Academy bait - early 80's style. A good, sudsy, afternoon comedy-drama with a starry cast all in high gear. Rather too 80s-soft at times, but it deftly avoids certain pitfalls, and its final coda lingers nicely in the mind. 7/10

Layer Cake

Shallow, tiresome ladwank. 3/10

Mega Shark vs. Kolossus (2015)

Currently watching this on Pick TV. To be honest, I'm strongly considering switching over. I don't know what's worse - the ridiculous premise, the dodgy CGI, the lack of professionalism amongst the 'actors' or the 'made for TV' standard music. Absolute garbage on every level and highly disappointing considering the promise of the title. I still don't know why 'Kolossus' is spelt with a 'K' instead of a 'C'. Utterly confusing and very poorly conceived. Everyone involved in this 'production' should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

7/10 - and that's being generous!

Netflix original - The Ridiculous 6. Give it 1/10 it was just awful, has a big star cast who must feel really embaressed about being in it, no idea what Netflix were thinking of funding this.
