I thought they'd already announced this, if its the one for the ITV 60th Anniversary.

Most of it taken up with David and Callum ..I would think Jack Shepard who's quite an experienced actor will cope with it well..but the actor who plays Callum could be out of his depth..but who knows !!

I agree Jack Shepard is great. I think Sean Ward is quite good himself actually I just can't stand the character of Callum or the current storyline.

Yes I think it will be if fire week was anything to go by & that wasn't live. I actually do hope it is a complete & utter flop so that finally itv are forced to do something. Unfortunately though even if it is a huge pile of steaming dog poo & critical reviews say as much, the ratings will probably still be good enough for them to claim it was a success.

Is this why Emmerdale brought their stories forward? I thought I heard Kate Oates say on GMB the other morning that Corrie had some stuff going on

I think the live episode will be fine and if Sean Ward miss up his lines that bit of fun to watch by a viewer because it can't be perfect all the time. The live episode will also be about Tracy revealing she's cause the fire on the flats. She probably get arrested in the live episode.

I had never heard of Sean Ward until he appeared in Corrie...so with not liking Callum or the never ending S/L I find it hard to distinguish between the character and the actor ..So I will hold my judgement..

I'm in between with you there..I love C/S so I don't want it to be a flop...but if it is it can only be for the good and hopefully then things will start to improve because like you say it can't get any worse......

I think it's going to be awful with Blackburn in charge full of dreadful stories with characters we don't give two hoots about. I don't have any faith in pre-recorded Corrie, so what hope is there with a live episode that's had a few months preparation? Despite the fact I don't watch Emmerdale, I think the privilege should have gone to them judging by the week it has had.

Personally I just hope it surprises everybody....

The ED 40th live episode was fantastic despite Blackburn's time there being a disaster in general. He could still pull something out of the bag.

I find it strange how there has been no build up to the live episode, there has been nothing from the media and very very little from the producers and we're only a month out from the live ep unless Blackburn is keeping his cards close to his chest, which is a very bad idea as he needs all the publicity he can get.

As for the content, I am sure the Callum / David / Kylie will be tedious unless something dramatic happens in recent weeks but at least Paula Lane and Jack P Shepherd are fantastic actors.

There might be 3 big shocks coming in the live ep. Any guesses as to what the 3 big shocks are? Theres been some rumours that

...

Kevin Webster is Sarah Lou's dad, and Brian Tilsley or Janet Barlow will return....from the dead, plus some kind of disaster

It would be insane if any of these things happened

None of those things will happen. I don't know what you're basing any of it on?

Really can't see Coronation Street pulling out any surprises at all actually, certainly not anything as gimmicky as people are imagining.

Tracy confessing it was her that went into Carla's flat and moved the candle.

1. Ken will do something
2. It will be revealed Simon Barlow was swapped at birth with another kid
3. Emily's ghostly powers will be discovered when she walked through the Barlow's living room wall and into the Rovers.

The only surprise will be if it's actually any good

Lol all these answers are terribly amusing

The Simon swap would make sense because the kid doesn't look anything like a Barlow. He looks biracial, for starters.
