This really annoyed me this week. The episodes have been brilliant from start to finish with amazing performances from all involved, but seriously Emmerdale.... Debbie's flawless make-up following a tearful scene with Pete about her affair, A helicopter causing rubble and debris to rain down on her, unconcious for a long period of time, and a risky operation to remove her spleen and she wakes up in hospital with not a bit of eye make-up out of place???

Whatever make-up she uses I want it. Sleep-proof, tear-proof, helicopter proof......

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that scene in the hospital. Her false eyelashes were still in place too. Having had a few operations myself, you have to remove things like nail varnish and false eyelashes before an operation so I would have thought the hospital would have cleaned her up before going into the operating theatre and removed false eyelashes and the dust and debris from the accident and yes her make up! If I'm ever in a helicopter through the roof accident I hope I look as good

I've mentioned this before. No other actor in Emmerdale has a problem with realism, eg Dianne looking awful, Charity, Chastity, et al, but Debbie never looks anything but perfect. My suspicion is that it is the actor's vanity, which should be overridden by the director.

How do you explain her makeup less face in yesterdays episode?

Looks pretty perfect when she wakes up in hospital, could have been going for a photo shoot.

I think that's a bit unkind. There's never been any evidence that she's a diva or vain in the media. She has appeared make up free before. I do like her as an actress and think she's stunning with or without make up. She's got beautiful hair, a lovely face and a perfectly proportioned figure.

She had no make-up on in the Friday episode.

Her sister a make up artist Cassie Lomas not surprising but agree it did look a bit silly that she still looked immaculate considering a helicopter fell on them and every one else looks ruffed up.
