For me it was worse we knew val was leaving not a shock.

I do feel Ruby was not a great popular character which was build up

Ross was the biggest shock but got to say you knew one of barton was going to get killed.

For me why not kill of a dingle or rhonia the moaner nick name I call her or a bigger character

You mean 'Your spelling and grammar are disappointing". You use 'is' when talking about one thing and 'are' when talking about more than one thing - in this case two things, 'spelling' and 'grammar'.

For me it was their best week for a number of years.

I don't think so when they did the live when gennie give birth.

Helicopter crash disappointing
..
Ruby's death with Dan and Kerry.. totally believable and so moving ..the highlight of the week for me.. all three of them deserves an award for it.

Val dying....expected.

Ross dying...Still in shock..though I am thinking and hoping he will return..

Disappointment ..Debbie didn't die

Have yet to watch Friday's episode..

So for me.....Good viewing but I thought it would be a lot better than it was.

Didn't find any of it disappointing. Yes, there were a few things that were hard to believe but overall a good job by all.

Only thing was disappointing was the amount of spoilers around before it as even I who makes big effort not to see spoilers already knew a helicopter was going down and people were going to die (thankfully I didn't know who).

For me, it was up there with the siege week and the show home exploding.

Absolutely amazing I thought.

I still understood what the OP wrote. Why bother even mentioning it?

I enjoyed last week but I don't think it was as good as other summer plots and specials that they've done.

Gennie Walker, Carl King and Killer Cameron had much more emotionally impacted exits.

Quite disappointed that Ross died. I am going to miss Val.

Dianne and Eric were fab

I enjoyed the week but am disappointed two great characters went and the crap was kept. Less reason to follow it so avidly

I enjoyed it, I was gripped through the whole week. I found Val to be an annoying character a lot of the time but I still found her death sad and I love the goodbye between her and Eric on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing the aftermath for everyone in next weeks episodes.

Fantastic!

But I ask again - where the hell were the rest of the villagers?

Many characters were featured prior to the crash then disappeared!

Unless I missed key clues in the episodes preceding the disaster I just couldn't get my head around it!

A very good week of Emmerdale

I thought it was fabulous. For a long time now Emmerdale has been excellent but last week was just unbeatable. Totally preposterous at times - but brilliant at all the same.

And ... although we all knew Val was going to go (personally I thought she'd still be in it for a few more weeks) her actual demise was so gruesome! I think someone put it right when they said it was very 'Final Destination'.

Love it and can't wait for next week.

It wasn't the best thing since sliced bread as promoted but it was exciting and enjoyable viewing.
