What's this? I hope its not a sign of things to come. Her recent output has been abysmal and I can't see this even charting. She sounds good on it though.

Absolutely brilliant. Original, frothy and fun.

Cheesy but it's a fun song and not from an upcoming album, it's a movie soundtrack song. It's perfect for that.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but after a few listens i'm sold, its very catchy!

Think I read she is recording an Xmas album. Personally I think that's a shocking move, as while it will bring in a few sales and get her a few chat show appearances at Xmas...long-term it damages her credibility.

It all depends on what songs are recorded and the promotion. It's not going to end Kylie's career nor is it going to erase everything she has achieved. I don't like Christmas albums, but I think Kylie is one of very few pop stars who could pull one off.

Let's not forget that she has been working on new music with Giorgio Moroder and Fernando Garibay, which is reportedly fantastic. I don't think Kylie's credibility is under threat. It's not like she's going to morph into Susan Boyle and release an album every Christmas. People need to chill out.

Love me some Kyles but I don't think "Kylie" and "credibility" go in the same sentence.

Not feeling it

It's not really a "single", it's more a track to promote a film. It's in the same vein as Britney's 'Ooh La La'. Frothy pop.

She has recorded with various alternative artists over the years, she has just collaborated with Nervo, has recorded with Flight Facilities and also the Icelandic group Múm.

Maybe to those who only follow her singles she doesn't seem "credible", but she is actually the most diverse female pop star out there.

Yeah but her legacy will be remembered as the sexy Aussie pop star who released frothy, campy pop

Does being "indie" and only releasing "cool" music really equal credibility? I think a 28 year career, with seven #1 singles (15 years between them) and being the first female artist to have a #1 album in 4 consecutive decades equals credibility.

It's a grower. Wasn't sure on first listen.

Didn't do Abba any harm.

It's absolutely dreadful. (I'm a Kylie fan, btw).

Here here!

Don't let @PrinceDicky hear about the 4 decades of no1 albums FACT though... He seems to contest it for some reason. ??

Kylie does deserve more credit than she deserves and I hope she can have some success on the single charts again...

I reckon Kylie has one more big hit left in her, a bit like Cher in the late 90s with Believe.

It grows on you and I think she delivers a great vocal.

I love it! Sure, it's extremely cheesy but it's also great fun and a very upbeat song that's perfect for this time of year.

The video is dire though. The fact the song is for a film soundtrack is no excuse for someone to stick an artist like Kylie in such a piece of rubbish.

Kylie has a career to be proud of. You don't last as long in the music business as she has unless you are savvy and give your fans what they want to hear. Is there even anything wrong with frothy, campy pop music other than what your own personal taste prefers?

She can release three minutes of recorded farting and it'll achieve the same commercial success. That's just the way it is now.

It's pleasant but nothing special.

The recent NERVO track on the other hand is incredibly good.

I quite like it, very catchy but I think I would become quite boring after a while andit isn't anything special - sounds like your bog standard pop song. Good enough for a film soundtrack though IMO.
