Wolfsburg's win against Real Madrid is the first time we have ever all failed to score any points from a Quarter-Final first leg match in the 10 years of this competition - quite a stat, that.

The 180 points from Barca's win makes that the 6th best scoring match in those 10 years.

The uber-max draw between PSG and Man City was only the 7th uber correctly predicted at this stage of the competition.

Yeah, I completely failed with the first legs, must do better in the second legs.

fatsi wins week 33 with a season’s best 25 points (equalling his best ever score). This was his first weekly win of the season and his second overall. dgsmith (24 points) and Chris MacL (22 points) also achieved season’s best totals, whilst clarky323, willrelf92, Apple_Crumble, Benny Johns, DimSum, lauro and Realale also scored 20 points or more.

fatsi was the only player to manage 3 exacts: the 1-1 draw between Watford and Everton, the 2-0 Leicester win and uber-maxing the 3-1 Southampton win.

Chris MacL, dgsmith, Katie-Jane, tonypennys and willrelf92 all scored points in 8 of the weekends’ matches – all failed to get the Swansea win whilst Chris MacL and tonnypennys also did not score from Palace’s win, dgsmith did not score in Leicester’s win, Katie-Jane missed Spurs win and willrefl92 missed the draw at Watford.

The uber-max Southampton win was this week’s top scorer generating 133 points. Man City’s home win saw the most players gaining points as 56 of the 58 players got something from this one. Bournemouth’s 2-1 win at doomed Villa saw the most maxes (12). Collectively we scored 830 points this week, making it the 6th highest scoring week of the season so far. The average score this week was 14.3 points – the second highest of the season (week 5 is the only one to beat that so far, with an average of 15 points each).

Eugenespeed is now the form player having gained a season’s best 92 points from the past 6 weeks (scoring in 29 of the 55 matches). Chris MacL has the next best form achieving season bests for both points (91) and correct outcomes (32). For the second week running Beth has maintained her record of scoring in 34 matches over the past 6 weeks (no-one has scored in more matches during any 6 week period this season).

Charlieparr is on the current longest run on consecutive maxes, having got at least one exact in each of the last 10 weeks (which is also his personal best ever run).

There was only one cowpat this weekend as Leicester’s second goal was scored after 5 minutes of injury time. This did have a significant impact as 21 players had gone for a 1-0 win, whilst 6 players benefited from the second goal.

Overall that one goal was also significant for leader for the past 13 week (Thebenster) was one of the players who suffered having gone for a 1-0 win. That was enough to close the gap between the top 2, so that Taurus_67 is now joint leader with Thebenster. DartGuru and Matthartlane both benefitted from the cowpat, to join dean Michael just 4 points behind the two joint leaders.

There was a change at the very top as dazc regained the overall lead from Charlieparr by a single point. Both players have now reached the 400 point mark for the season – this is the first season where no-one has reached 400 points by week 30.

We are still on course for a very close finish that could go to the last day as the top 5 remain closer than in any previous season (separated by 17 points, one fewer than the only occasion we had the lead change in the last day drama of the 2008-09 season).

Chris MacL’s good week see’s him move up to a season high of 5th, whilst DartGuru also moves to a season’s best of 15th.

Dazc and tso have gained points in the most matches this season (152 out of 323), whilst charlieparr has the most exacts (37 maxes and 1 uber-max).

Darren Letham wins the round with 24 points. He was one of only 6 players to get an exact this round and the only one who got the Man City win spot on, whilst also being one of only 2 players (along with Realale) to score in 3 of the matches.

Only 11 other players scored in as many as 2 of the matches (of those only neilwatson and tonypennys got a max from Real's 3-0 win over Wolfsburg), whilst Chris MacL, fatsi and Mark F were the only other players to get an exact (again Real's win).

With tonypennys and realale scoring 6 points more than the rest of the top 8, it means they move to the top of the overall table - with tony leading on countback (18 exacts to 17). Previous leader willrefl is only a point further back.

With just 14 points separating the top 6 that makes it the closest season to date (the previous closest title race at this stage was 2013-14 when there were 20 points between 1st and 6th)

In the previous 9 seasons the leader after the quarter-finals were completed has gone on to lift the title on 6 occasions. On the 3 occasoins the leader didn't hold on: in 2008-09 Terrence Chant was 2nd and pulled back a 9 point deficit on Faxy Fowler, whilst in 2011-12 tso was also 2nd but recovered 16 points on yakutz in the final 3 rounds and last season Terrence Chant was on the receiving end as he lost a 7 point lead to then 2nd placed charlieparr. With this season's race being so close it could become the first time that someone from outside the top 2 at this stage goes on to take the overall honours.

Realale has scored points in the most matches this season (73) - only the last 2 seaons have seen any players score in more matches at this stage (dean michael holds the record of scoring in 80 matches out of the 120 played in the opening 10 rounds). darren Letham has had the most exacts this season (20 - 18 maxes and 2 ubers), only 5 players have ever had more exacts at this stage (with the record of 22 being held by jointly by dean michael, DimbleBurbleby and Dimsum).

Collectively we only scored 276 points - only the very first season (when there were only 13 players) has produced a lower total at this stage of the competition. 180 of those points came from Real Madrid's win making it the 8th highest scoring match from 10 years of Quarter-Final second legs.

Week 34 honours go to Hibs-kid-2007 with his season’s best score of 22 points. This was his second weekly win of the season (having also won week 26) and his 6th overall win (in his 300th week). He joins anap, Apple_Crumble, clarky323, Croctacus, dazc, dbal, willrelf92 and Xavier Quebeck as the players to have won 2 weeks this season.

Mark F (21 points) also achieved a season’s best score, whilst Partyanimal and Realale also scored 20 points or more. This was Realale’s third score of 20 or more this season (only Chris MacL and DartGuru with 4 each and Apple_crumble and willrefl92 with 5 each have managed more). It was also the second consecutive week that Realale had scored 20 points (Apple_Crumble and DimbleBurbleby are the only players to have managed back-to-back 20+’s this season).

Mark F was the only player to get three exacts this week: maxing the draw between Everton and Southampton and Liverpool’s win at Bournemouth and uber-maxing the 2-2 draw between Leicester and West Ham.

Hibs-Kid and Realale got the most correct outcomes (7) both missing out on the draw between Arsenal and Crystal Palace, whilst Hibs-Kid did not score from Spurs win last night nor from Watford’s win at West Brom. Realale also missed out on man City’s win at Chelsea and the draw between Leicester and West Ham.

Overall the lead swapped hands once more as charlieparr regained the lead from dazc by 2 points. This is the 4th week running they have swapped places in the top 2. Behind them Realale has closed the gap and is now only 1 point behind Apple_Crumble. Chris MacL rounds the top 5 claiming his highest overall spot of the season too.

Man United’s win over Aston Villa and Liverpool’s win at Bournemouth were the only matches to generate over 100 points collectively this weekend. United win saw 56 of the 58 players getting points, whilst the Liverpool win and the Everton draw both saw the most exacts (13). Five of the matches saw no-one get them spot on, with the Arsenal-Palace draw proving to be the coupon-buster that we all missed – only 1 completed week so far this season has seen more than 5 matches fail to get an exact (week 13 had 7 matches without an exact).

Collectively we scored 588 points – only 4 completed weeks have generated fewer points this season so far.

Charlieparr is now also the form player having gained a season’s best 94 points from the past 6 weeks (scoring in 31 of the 55 matches). Beth84 and Chris MacL has the next best form, both scoring 92 points.

Beth, Realale (90 points), dazc (33 matches), Mark F (83 points), dgsmith (81 points and 28 matches) and clarky323 (27 matches) also achieved a season best form in either their total points or scoring matches from the past 6 weeks.

Charlieparr also continued the current longest run on consecutive maxes, having got at least one exact in each of the last 11 weeks (which is also his personal best ever run). Only Cissy Fairfax has been a longer run of maxes this season – managing 14 consecutive weeks between week 3 and week 16.

There were 4 cowpats this weekend:
Bournemoth 1-2 Liverpool
Leicester 2-2 West Ham
Newcastle 3-0 Swansea
Norwich 0-3 Sunderland

The consolation Bournemouth goal had the biggest influence, affecting 22 players: 13 benefitting from the cowpat and 9 losing their max.

18 players were affected by the late Leicester equaliser: Darren Lethem, familyguy8904, Hibs-kid-2007, Katie-Jane, Mark F and Partyanimal all got the best possible outcome of a +7 uber-pat, whilst 6 others also gained a +2. Fish Go Deep and MinkyJoe both suffered a -5 , whilst 4 other players also ended up with a -2.

No-one got a positive pat from Newcastle’s 3rd goal, whilst DartGuru and InTheLoop both suffered a -3 each.

Dyer24 was the only player affected by the third Sunderland goal – losing his max having gone for a 2-0 away win.

Kate-Jane and Mark F gained the most from the cowpat goals this week: both netting a +10 (courtesy of a +7 from the Leicester equaliser and a +3 from the Bournemouth goal). Cuishla and davethecue were the other players to get 2 positive (and no negative) pats, whilst no-one suffered more than one negative pat.

Overall Thebenster was able to regain his overall lead as he gained a +3 from the Bournemouth goal, whilst previous joint-leader Taurus_67 was unaffected by any of the late goals.

This is just the table of who scored the most points in the Tuesday to Thursday fixtures irrespective of which week they fell in. It's main reason for inclusion is the fact that it features Dimble Burbleby at the top

WoodsMonk and MinkyJoe were the only players to get the correct outcome in all 5 matches – the former managing a max in the Arsenal win, whilst the latter did get any of them spot on.

Dosanjh1 proved to be the winner of week 27 once all the matches had been played. He had been in 3rd place (on 17 points) for the week before the extra 2 games were played, but maxing the Newcastle-Man City draw and scoring an extra 2 points from the Liverpool win allowed him to register a best ever weekly total of 24 points. Week 27 thus becomes their second ever weekly win (and second of the season – having also taken the honours in week 18).

Dgsmith and MinkyJoe both scored season’s bests of 22 points each in week 27 (dgsmith subsequently set a new best in week 33 with 24 points)’

Dosanjh1 was the only player to get 4 exacts in week 27 having previously got maxes from the Chelsea win at Southampton, Stoke beating Villa and Spurs beating Swansea.

Beth84, dgsmith, MinkyJoe and neilwatson all ended up scoring in 8 of the 10 week 27 matches.

There are still 2 matches remaining in week 30 following the midweek games, but the round is currently being led by DimbleBurbleby on 26 points. This equals his all-time best weekly score and would represent his 4th weekly win (and second of the season, having already won week 24).

Charlieparr, lauro and Mark F have all scored 21 points so far in week 30 (in Mark F’s case this would have been his personal best had the matches all been played on the same weekend – he equalled that score in the last round of fixtures). DartGuru is the only other player has have scored 20 points from week 30 so far.

DimbleBurbleby leads this round courtesy of being the only player with 4 exacts (adding the maxes at Man United and Arsenal and the uber from west Ham’s win to the max from Spurs win at Villa during the matches played on the scheduled week 30 weekend).

Croctacus has scored points in all 8 matches played so far in week 30. If she scores in both of the outstanding fixtures (Liverpool-Chelsea and Sunderland-Everton) then she will be the first player this season to get the 10 point bonus for getting the correct outcome in all 10 fixtures.

Overall, charlieparr has increased his lead over dazc to 5 points, whilst Realale claims a season’s best third place a further 5 points back. Apple_Crumble drops to 4th but is still only 13 points behind the leader.
