I knew it was going to be Ainsley, when the second clue was revealed that the named celebrity had played a chef in an episode of Red Dwarf. It was confirmed when Alex brought out the Red Tomato and Green Pepper.

Oh god no. Jeremy Vine i can cope with. Ainsley Harriot no thanks. Will hold off my ticket application for a while until there's more reveals. Hopefully some more inspiring celebs to come!

Two BBC "regulars" being the first choices, no doubt the BBC will be benefiting from some "cross promotion," between now and the end of the series.
And announcing it on "The One Show" first is just a ploy to get Strictly fans to watch that programme when possibly some of them wouldn't normally give it the time of day
So far that's two people for whom I don't have much time, so I hope we get some interesting people with some potential, or for me, it looks as if it could be another mainly disappointing bunch..again.

So I guess you will not be watching it this year then.
The BBC like Sky, like ITV will use cross promotion, newspapers do it, radio does it, the Internet does it, as you post here related products get advertised for you, to your reading habits.
But unlike the other channels some reveals will be on the other channels.
