Why should I not get compensation or a rebate when I am not getting all the channels I should have?

Perhaps you could pose that question to Sky and Post their response!

Use phrases such as "Fitness for Purpose", "Goods and Services" - I'm sure you can think of a few more.

It will have expanded Catorgories.instead of nine it will have I think sixteen.
Music and Radio will be split. So will news and documentrys.etc
Also The favourites will be fifty instead of twenty, and used in a different way.
There are more but those are the main noticble differences

Not long adk. By the end of this month, you will have version 4, if you don't, simply phoen Sky and they will send the update specifically to your box

Right, you have missed an update: 3.3b5(This gives the new light blue background, and enhances Parental Control). The next update is 4.00o, which gives new categories, the ability to store 50 favourite channles and view them in a customised grid, and the ability to view the listings for HD Channels (you can't actually view them).

There are some boxes that 3.3b.5 was never released for; they're still 'correctly' on 3.3a.6 until they receive the current round of updates. You may have one of those?

If you really want to check, have a look at your box's version number (found on the system details page). If it starts with 4F03 then it will be correctly possessed of version 3.3a.6 until they broadcast the update for it (sometime between now and the end of this month, ostensibly).

Are SKY upgrading ALL SKY Digital Satellite receivers? I am becoming increasingly dubious as to whether my SKY iDTV will get upgraded.
I have posted previously about my Panasonic TX32DTS3 (built-in SKY Digital and Freeview). The current EPG software is iDTV 3.2.11 and has been for as far as I can remember. If SKY DON'T update the iDTV EPG software what will happen? Will things stop working or will it continue to work as before?

I have noticed over the last few months that the EPG stops working occasionally and you just get the 'searching for listings' message displayed. This hasn't worried me so far as other people with 'normal' set top boxes and SKY+ have also reported this so I assume this is all part of the current EPG upgrade?

Any other SKY iDTV users on here (Panasonic TX28DTS3 or TX32DTS3?) have similar concerns?

Andy
