I love her music. Even since she got big with Clean Bandit or did she? Was she famous before Clean Bandit?

Anyway her new song Don't Be So Hard On Yourself is amazing and such a nice video.

Anyone else a fan?

She's good and I can't wait for her album. I have found her music a bit samey.

Right here, My Love and Hold my hand are not that different from one another. Here is hoping her album shows different sides to her

I really like Jess Glynne. For me, her vocal style is distinctive - still can't fathom out how people thought she was Adele when Rather Be first came out. To me, there's a big difference in both their vocal styles.

I think whoever has been handling Jess' career so far has done an incredible job. Back to back hit singles including featuring on some of the biggest hits over these last 18 months.

I do hope that there will be a mind blowing ballad on the album. One of those songs when you hear it, and you just think "WOW!!!". The closest song I've heard heard so far to a "ballad" is Ain't Got Far To Go although this is more RnB than ballad. I do like the fact that so far her music has been mostly uptempo and it's brilliant feel good music, and sometimes that's all people want to hear.

Would be brilliant if the new single could get to #1 tomorrow on iTunes but I suspect Charlie & Meghan's single will hold up enough next week to remain #1 officially with Jess entering at #2 or #3 (depending on how well Calvin Harris does).

She could potentially have five number ones by next week if DBSHOY gets there, before she's even had an album out. Insane.

With the exception of the Tinie Tempah track I think her collabs have been superior to her solo stuff though. (Especially My Love, I don't think I'll ever get bored of that track.) But I still love Hold My Hand and the new one.

She has such a gorgeous voice, it's great to see some actual British talent doing well. Move over Cheryl, Rita etc.

I love how people comment on Jess Glynne's voice as being "average".

Finally we have a great female singer with the success to match. Well, to go alongside Adele that is.

Far better than Geri "gruff" Halliwell and Cheryl "autotune" Whateverhersurnameisthesedays!

Other people have a different opinion to you, deal with it.

Jess Glynne's recordings are massively autotuned and overproduced. I also suspect they are sung in a lower key in the studio and then pitch-shifted. She really can't perform the choruses of her songs in the same key as her recordings when she sings them live. In a live situation the backing singers do all the high note heavy-lifting and she come in under the octave and fills in the sound.

Not impressed.

I love Jess Glynne, I got one of the signed deluxe editions of her album from Amazon and I haven't been able to stop playing it for the whole week. Been trying hard to get tickets to her O2 Academy show in Birmingham but they're all sold out, I should have paid more attention and got them earlier!

I have to disagree it's incredibly average and a huge disappointment. I had been so looking forward to it but beyond the singles there is little else that is all that good. And actually over an entire album her voice begins to grate. Definitely not one of the best albums released this year.

Other than the fact that she doesn't sound like Adele and doesn't have any songs that sound like Adele songs.

I had barely heard of her before my previous 'tongue in cheek' comment and I'm absolutely astounded that she has had 5 No.1's and I don't know any of them.
I just found out yesterday that she is supporting Metric in Glasgow but going by the some of the comments I'm not sure she will be worth going early for.

I suppose it's a sign of the times (and the charts) that someone with 5 No.1's is supporting a band who have barely broken into the singles chart in their entire career.

I kinda agree

Her live performances leave little to be desired. I have seen her perform Rather be several times live and she fails to hit the notes she does on the recording, but then that's studio editing for you.

Try nearer the time. Also, most shows don't "sell out" quickly. They always hold back extra tickets and release them nearer the concert date.

Also, if you still haven't managed it, contact the venue directly.

I couldn't listen to a whole album of hers- her voice grates on me. I liked Rather Be but everything else is forgettable.

I've tried to listen to her album on more than one occasion.

It's not for me. Her voice grates after a while.

I was thinking the same thing... I listen to enough pop music to know about her but it's quite remarkable how obscure she has remained for someone with 5 number 1's.

As for Metric, my response is... Who?!
