Steve should just have been brave and nominated Becky from the offset. Jackie/Meg leaving is a bit of a letdown.

He breaks up a TRIO, gains Vanessa's trust back by taking a swipe at 'the other side' and is now good with all the house except James and the survivor of this eviction.

Don't know why you were worried about Vanessa even after Steve won. He was never going to put her up. I think John knew this that's why he didn't use be veto because the replacement would've been Becky

Reaching out to Steve all those weeks ago has come up trumps for Vanessa. I doubt she'll win, but I think an Austwin is taking this home.

He would've gained Vanessa's trust more by evicting Becky IMO. Now Vanessa will be even more threatened with the trio of Steve/John/Becky. However everything else is spot on for his game. When I said it would be a letdown I meant more entertainment wise.

Damn I've only Johnny Mac left that I'm actually rooting for, well Julia too. Becky's mistake was not nominating the Twins, if she'd nominated them and pulled one off Vanessa would almost have been guaranteed to go as the other twin and Austin would have to evict Vanessa.

Can see James and Meg getting even closer to Austin now.

If that's dancing, I shudder to think what Meg's nights out are like.

My issue this season is I like people in both alliances and dislike people in both so its difficult to root for one in particular.

They took a risk.

Steve/Vanessa have both spoke about 'being done' with each other this week, but neither of them knew the other one was 'done'.

It would've been absolutely stupid of him to take her out tonight, but I just thought he'd take the easy option of 'going with the house'. Glad he proved me wrong and showed some guts.

I think looking back, this will be remembered as a double eviction where some of the most unlikely scenarios played out. I thought it was like 90% certain that one of Becky/John/Vanessa went home, but then we got a HoH from the only person who was unlikely to target any of them, and a veto win from someone with zero interest in using it.

The 3 of them are getting targeted soon. At least I hope so, to give this cast some respectability.

Why when there are twins sitting there are people still not considering nominating them, add Austin and thats a big glaring solid 3 person alliance sitting there and they just get ignored each week. I like Julia so don't mind but its odd.
