I think the Sunday talk-in will done now- and Tom is now on weekend breakfast so.....

I tuned in also this afternoon for the 80's thing 1-4pm, Tony Shepherd was still there but playing the normal playlist stuff so tuned out again, the station had a weekend 80's show for years ever since it was Magic , going back at least 14/15 years.

Now at weekends there seems to be a right mishmash of presenters on the English stations anyway, I wonder how BC2 will do in the Rajars this coming year?!
The Bauer City 2 stations are really bland there are no features through the day and no specialist programmes through the day on weekend which are appointment to listen for the listener. With the overall in the schedule I would have introduced the 70's @ 7 and 80's @ 8 on the evening show and add an extra Golden Hour between 15.00 and 16.00 on the Drivetime show. The 80's show needs to be brought back on Sunday afternoons between 13.00 - 16.00 and a 60's show on Saturday Afternoons on between 14.00 - 16.00 and 70's show on Saturday Afternoons between 16.00 - 18.00.

So you would improve what you call a bland schedule by filling it with bland, unimaginative features?

That sounds like a good plan to me.

A few changes next week on the Bauer stations in Scotland from Sunday.

Greigsy moves from the networked 7pm - 10pm show to do the 10am - 2pm on Clyde 1 Monday to Friday.

While current 10am - 2pm presenter on Clyde 1 - Knoxy will take over Greigsy's network evening show from Sunday.

Good luck to both of them. When Greigsy covered Clyde 1 breakfast I thought he was better at that than he was at doing the evening show.

I wasnt sure if you meant Dom Stirling as he was covering last night across the BC 1 network as it is usually a girl called Ellie on a Friday night

It's normally Ellie Brennan on Key 103, Radio City and Rock FM and across Scotland on a Friday night, Jess Dawson on Radio Aire, Hallam FM and Viking FM, both as part of the Your Big Chance competition, and Dan Moylan and Ruth on Metro and TFM.

Strange Greigsy has already been moved from the show after just five months. Wonder if Michael Blades will get moved in England also, in my opinion the old Inemand was way better than Michael's show is now.

Is Dan Moylan and the Ruth you're on about on Metro/TFM- Ruth Aitken- seems to have a Teesside accent if it's the same one that reads the news in the mornings?
